Constructing my opinion piece :)
Section A: The attention grabber!
I will show my audience the importance of having Hispanics in the nursing field. I will provide statistics in which numbers will speak for themselves (logos). Such as showing how the Hispanic population is the biggest population out there. It is also believe that the Hispanic population will triple as the years pass. This will help the audience (students seeking the nursing field) reflect and think of the importance of having Hispanic culture in the field (phatos). This will also courage them.
Section B: The policy change
There’s not a policy, but changes are being implied to help Hispanic students look more into the nursing field. Opportunities such as financial help is provided by having many scholarship opportunities, there are programs that also help Hispanic students understand better the field. Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is one source I will be using to show the opportunities.
Section C: Call to action!
Sources will be provided for the audience, meaning doors will be there for them, they just have to decide if the will open them. All the information needed will be in my opinion piece.
