I believe this picture is a good representation of why we care about media effects.

·         The TV. With the words “consume” in contrast to the man reading the paper could suggest that media effects is the largest, fastest growing audience, quickly changing

·         The shackle around the man’s head  and words “modern slave” could be a way Technology is changing audiences and the meaning of audience and that it is prevalent everywhere

When I was young, I used to collect all sorts of movie paraphernalia.
