Summer of Smut 3.0 Content Creation Challenge

(Text prompts can be found at the bottom of this post underneath the cut) What: Returning for the third year, @xxsycamore​ and I are hosting a lively content creation challenge to celebrate the summer with our favorite characters, and to promote/support creators within the various fandoms!

When: July 17th- July 31st (Final deadline to have your submission posted to be included on the Masterlist is August 13th.)

Feel free to write/draw/create for as few or as many stories as you would like.You may combine prompts. (You can post it on either day then if you choose to combine.)

AUs are allowed. Suitor x Suitor, Suitor x MC, Suitor x OC, Suitor x NPC are all allowed.

Tags for the event will include #summer of smut & #summer of smut writing challenge.

We will be making a Masterlist to feature all of the stories. If you would like your creations to be included, please be sure to tag me so I can make sure I see them! If I reblogged your story, that means I saw it and it will be included on the Masterlist. Please don’t hesistate to dm me if you have noticed I unintentinally missed anything!

Final deadline to have your submission posted to be included on the Masterlist is August 13th! The final Masterlist will be posted for all on August 14th, so be sure to have everything completed by then!

VM Fic Club is happy to announce Sexy LoVe Week 2022!

Content creators, get ready, we've got a new challenge brewing, and we're looking into close encounters of the smutty kind between our favorite jackass-with-a-heart-of-gold and the tiny, snarky love of his life.

As naughty as we might feel, we have some guidelines to follow:

First and most important: please, behave 😉 Meaning we use only the NSFW channel on Discord for this challenge and welcome all creators above the age of consent to participate.

We’re feeling frisky and willing to experiment this year 😉

Yeaaah, you got us there! 😇 We want to encourage new people to join our fandom, so please, feel free to repost the challenge announcements on Tumblr, Instagram, and Twitter. Let the number of talented people here grow! 🙌🏻

LoVe is the ship we sail on. This is a LoVe-oriented challenge. You may include other ships when writing this, and bring in other characters besides Logan Echolls and Veronica Mars in polyamorous scenarios or maybe make your favourite character play solo. Have fun with it, but you know who our hearts belong to! 🙂

Use at least one of the prompts for the specified day. We've listed three prompts a day every day for a week. We really hope they’ll turn you on inspire your creativity! Use some of the prompts or all at once. It’s up to you! Just make sure to share it with us. Sharing is caring, right? 😉

This is a challenge when your exhibitionistic tendencies will come in handy 😁 Give us all you have. Meaning all types of content creators are welcome: fics, drabbles, art, podfics, playlists, gifsets, and more!

Use all measures of protection! 🤓 Tag conscientiously. Make sure you use the appropriate fic rating when posting, especially as we're expecting mostly Mature and Explicit fics. On AO3, tag any major characters and relationships, kinks and any trigger warnings, especially for any issues of dubious consent. No love without a glove, be mature about it 😉

Posting begins on 08/15. We encourage you to post during 15-21 of August week; if you run a little late, that's totally fine, we will keep the collection open until 08/31. If you upload early, that's okay too, but the collection will not be revealed until 08/15.

Our party will be held in the “Sexy LoVe Week 2022” collection on AO3. The collection will be anonymous and authors will be revealed on 09/01. We’ll have all the fun in the world trying to guess who wrote which fic 😄  If you want to stay anonymous after this date, please set the work accordingly. One last thing: Have fun and cheer each other on! We welcome non-content creators to participate through appreciation, especially in the form of comments, kudos, and gushing on the server.

‘Tis the Season for Smut is Nearly Here!

The 'Tis the Season for Smut Challenge officially starts up tomorrow (or even today for some of you)!

I’ll be using the tags #’tis the season for smut & #'tis the season for smut content creation challenge in case you would like to block the tag and opt out of seeing these pieces since I’m going to be posting and reblogging the creations that were prepared for this challenge. 

I’ll be posting the Masterlist along with the post featuring all the creators that participated on Dec. 20th. Everyone will have a few days after the challenge ends to finish up all works they would like to share! Please feel free to tag me in your works that way I can ensure I don’t unintentionally miss any to add onto the Masterlist. If I’ve reblogged your creation, it’s been added to the Masterlist. If you see I haven’t reblogged it, please please please shoot me a dm on tumblr or discord so I can make sure it gets added on! Sometimes I don’t get notified with tags and I would hate to miss someone’s work.

A special shout out in advance to all the content creators out there who have or are taking the time to prepare for this challenge! I know this time of year is an extremely busy one for most, and I wanted to share my gratitude in advance for helping spread some holiday cheer around the fandom communities after especially what’s been a very long year. 🔞 Now that we are about a month out from May, I wanted to revisit Masturbation May for 2024. During a poll, it seemed like some of you were interested in participating/writing/drawing something for it and I just wanted to check in and see if people were still interested!

I would be focusing on fandoms that I primarily partake in, such as the Ikémen series and Jujutsu Kaisen, (basically anything in my masterlist), but I'd be fine with sharing submissions for other fandoms too.

If so, then I'd want to set up maybe a masterlist and perhaps themes for each week of May? There's technically 5 weeks in May, so we could have 5 themes that people can write for, or just do 4 and keep it simple. Check out last year's stuff to get a better idea of what we'd do (just not as many fics lmao).

I'd love some feedback if there's anything specific people would like to do. But anyway, depending on level of interest, then I'll see about themes for the weeks:
