My precious bloggie got a mini-makeover today, as did the newsletter! Let me know what you think.

Here's the thing... you can read all the advice articles in the world, but until you actually DO, you can't really learn. Common Ink has already gone through a couple of iterations, and it struck me recently that having the newsletter and blog separate was doing me absolutely no favors.

So anyway, nothing's much changed except a couple nouns :3

I've also moved to Substack and am quite thrilled to be free of the corruption that is squarespace e-mail campaigns, so use the sign up link right there on the blog to join up!!!!

I’m in the process of job hunting. I’m looking for work that I can do from home (content writing, editing, social media management, etc.). In the meantime, I’m submitting articles to magazines, though I haven’t heard back from anyone yet.

This period of time is hard. It’s hard for non-disabled people, and I definitely feel so much pressure—which I put on myself—to work and be productive. I’ve talked about productivity here before, how it means different things for different people.

I’m going to keep moving forward. I know the writers who make it are the ones who keep trying, and I know I’ll find a job right for me, I just need to remain patient.

How do you deal with stress related to your productivity? If you work remotely (especially if you’re a spoonie), mind sharing your experiences and/or tips?
