ARC's of my next YA thriller are going live soon, so I've posted the content notes below behind the cut.
HOW SHE FELL is a YA revenge thriller that unfolds in mixed media form, through prose, 10 pieces of art by the very talented Dana Ledl and screenplay scripts.
It is the story of 17 year old Dot Reeves, whose best friend Liberty Scott has died falling from the bluffs above their small town and only Dot knows the truth: Liberty didn't fall. She was pushed.
In her final moments, aspiring filmmaker Liberty gives Dot access to her cloud and all her uncut footage, along with a video of her running from an unseen attacker. She sends her Dot a final, desperate warning: DON'T TRUST OUR FRIENDS. THE PROOF IS IN THE PROJECT.
In a town ruled by fundamentalism, where Dot is intimately acquainted with how men get away with terrible things, she chooses not to share the truth behind Liberty's death and instead plots to take revenge into her own hands.
There is only one question that matters: not who killed Liberty.
But what Dot is doing to do to them once she finds them.
HOW SHE FELL is novel about friendship, loyalty, the monsters who live among us and the systems girls create to solve violent problems.
Content Notes for the novel are behind the cut.

As part of the run-up to the release of Will's route, I have developed a document consisting of extensive content notes. These are less warnings and more thoughts about how sensitive topics are approached and covered in the game. They are inspired in part by questions I have been asked on Tumblr over the years, so thanks to all!
Specific notes about topics found in the game's routes are found below the main content notes and use a spoiler reveal system (described in the document).
I will be linking the content notes more widely when Will's route releases. In the meantime, dear Tumblr fans, feel free to give it a read!
Content Notes Content Notes are meant for an adult audience (this game is Mature-rated) and contain frank discussion of sex and sexuality. G
Information about That’s Not My Neighbor and the triggers players may encounter in this game.
That’s Not My Neighbor is a pretty interesting game — think Papers, Please but with doppelgangers.
Triggers are up on the site!
EDIT: We forgot to check trypophobia initially, but fixed that. (Thanks, @aho-bot!)
Please feel free to reach out if we ever forget a trigger like this! We're just a small group of volunteers, so we will miss things from time-to-time. But, when we do, we want to make sure we correct that ASAP so that people are able to avoid triggers or content that is harmful for them.

Super happy to have HSH up on the site.
In addition to being a great game, developer Nick Lives purposefully put in phobia toggles to make the game more accessible.
"We're really interested overall in sharing our love of the horror genre with more people, and I think some people write off their interest in the genre because they don't like having a sudden spike of actual, tangible anxiety when watching something that's meant to be entertaining."
Just note I have queued some posts for tomorrow Monday 22 December, which are quotes from the book Deerskin by Robin McKinley.
Contents warning: to avoid seeing this content, please block these words: Deerskin, CSA, rape, abuse, incest, dissociation, suicide.
Deerskin is an adaptation of a fairytale in which a young girl is raped by her father the king. This book covers themes of CSA, rape, abuse but also healing and renewal. None of the quotes I posted are gratuitous or depict acts of abuse in a positive way. The quotes focus on the girl’s perspective, and she is very dissociated from her body, and suicidal, but she does eventually find healing.
Remember: you may find some other things I haven’t tagged distressing, traumatising, triggering or just unpleasant. Please use your best judgment. I have interspersed posts about Deerskin with other posts of pleasanter things, like landscapes. To see more of natural photography, you can try these tags

Not all of these will be described, but if they are they will be tagged ‘described’.
