What should we REALLY expect from a Contested Convention?

Why Republicans Are Really Longing for a Brokered Convention
Actually, a brokered convention could work in the favor of Republicans. Because it would give the public less time, or not enough time, for people to find out specifics about their dark horse candidate (as we have found out about Rick Santorum or Herman Cain, or Mitt Romney, for example). It's less time for the public to see them make mistakes and asses of themselves. As shocking and hilarious as the GOP debates were, without them we wouldn't have seen the unforced errors which led us to the 'real' Willard's $10,000 bet or 'moonbeam' Leroy, or 'Iatola' Santorum. The "brokered convention" Republican would enter with a relatively blank slate and not enough time to adequately define/reveal the real candidate--no recent blooper reels. Without the real candidate's bloopers fresh in mind, Republicans and Independents alike are more likely to fill in the blanks with whimsical fantasy of a "perfect republican."
