Considering the first time Rachelle D. Tavies served as show runner, the Infinity Knights had been wiped out by the Time Wave, but later turned up in great numbers,

it makes one wonder whether she’s trying to pull the same bait-and-switch on viewers this time, too.

‘I’m the last of my kind. All the Infinity Knights are gone, for good.’

It was established early on that Captain James frequently sleeps,

even though his transformation scene from Inspector Spacetime seemed to imply he didn’t need to do more than rest every week or so.

It may be a bit upsetting for some fans that later episodes contradict earlier ones,

such as when the 11th Inspector said he could reincarnate during ‘Let’s Kill Stalin’, yet by ‘The Space of the Inspector’, he was out of reincarnations.

The Star Wars Holiday Special (1978): He’s the best bounty hunter in the galaxy and Darth Vader’s right-hand man.

The Empire Strikes Back (1980): He’s just some bounty hunter.

Marvel Star Wars (1983): He’s a Mandalorian supercommando veteran of the Clone Wars.

Tales of the Bounty Hunters (1995): He’s an exiled Mandalorian journeyman-protector from the planet Concord Dawn whose real name is Jaster Mereel.

Attack of the Clones (2002): He’s a clone of a bounty hunter named Jango Fett, who may or may not have been Mandalorian, and who was only 10 years old at the start of the Clone Wars.

Post-Prequels (2002-2014): He’s a clone of Jango Fett, who was born on Concord Dawn and mentored by the real Jaster Mereel, and during the Clone Wars another clone of Jango Fett led a team of Mandalorian supercommandos and people thought Boba Fett was him, and after the Clone Wars he went back to Concord Dawn and became a journeyman-protector using Jaster Mereel’s name before being exiled and becoming the best bounty hunter in the galaxy and Darth Vader’s right-hand man. PHEW.

Post-Force Awakens Continuity (2014): He’s just some bounty hunter.
