“The Pilgrim” in production from April 1st 1922 to July 15th 1922 but not released till February 26th 1923. 

Again like with “The Kid” Chaplin had negotiation issues with First National, a four-reel film (his second largest to date) he wanted what it was worth.  His last First National film, a sixteen month contract (two-reel film every 2 months) spread out to 5 years
