Make a contract?

Considering the multiple near death experiences of the universe at the hands of Gods, one would expect for the inevitable end  of everything to go out with a bang, rather than a whisper, but that is not the case. The universes, in all of their glories, are dying slowly but surely, the energy of life being lost to conversion. In the far distant future, the world will be nothing but a cold, desolate space that even Arceus Himself could not prevent.

But His creations can. 

In the evolutionary process of Pokemon, an explosion of energy is released. Likewise, throughout a human’s life, the emotional output of exceeds the output of some of the most efficient energy sources known to the multiverse. These energies were once left to dissipate into the nothingness around them. 

While humans in a fair handful of universes have already begun to master the potential of Infinite Energy, there are beings in the world who aim to use this energy for something of a greater purpose than powering a rocket or submarine. These beings, known as Incubators, hope to harness the energy to reverse the entropy threatening to being chaos to the once ordered universe. 

Combining the potential of both emotionally unstable human youth and the creatures known as Pokemon, these incubators hope to offer contracts to Pokemon Trainers with great energy potential, granting them the powers of their Pokemon in order to save their world from  creatures known as Witches (or, they would soon day learn, the corrupted souls of those who had contracted). In exchange for their services, Pokemon Trainers are granted any wish their heart desires. 

In order to take the form of their Pokemon partners, the trainer and Pokemon have their souls transmuted into physical forms. The humans receive their soul in the form of a Soul Gem, while a Pokemon’s soul is converted into a Burst Heart. The combination of these items result in the humans evolution into a Burst Warrior, in which their powers reflect that of their Pokemon to fight off Witches. 

But be wary, warriors, for if you do not collect the Grief Seeds dropped by witches, your will soon fall into despair, and you shall befall a terrible fate.

How about a Marinette Angst AU? A crossover with Madoka Magica, where Marinette contracts and becomes a magical girl. Her wish is made either for her class, the city or Adrien. She turns into a witch sometime after the events of Chameleon (maybe Adrien has something to do with it but Lila definitely does)?

I’ll Only allow this if that means Chloé becomes a magical girl and gets her head bitten off. (You who have watched know what I’m talking about)
