A fully Spirit Cole has no interest in a relationship. He’s a spirit of Compassion, not love. If someone needs love to help them, then he’ll nudge them in the right direction like he probably did with Krem and Maryden.
A human Cole is different. He’s learning and growing like anyone else. It’s plausible that eventually, he’d potentially be interested in people, but it’d probably be almost entirely romantic. I don’t think I’m comfortable exploring The Spicy Shit with Cole. Innocence can be a fun dynamic with smut but idk. I don’t think it’ll happen, at least not on this blog? Who knows. I’ll touch on this a little more under the cut but nothing explicit.
At any rate, here are some things Cole might do in a relationship. Also some things he might like, or types of people I guess. If you’re not interested then that’s ok lol this subject is weird like I said.
Cole’s way of speaking, whether in a relationship or not, is romantic. He speaks like a poem, all emotion and a wide vocabulary. It’s not hard to think that in a relationship he’d turn that romantic style of speaking up to 11 and then some. Compassion is pretty close to love, so it wouldn’t really taint him or anything. It would simply be another human thing to add to the pile.
He’d probably find himself with a LOT of love. He loves to help. I don’t know if I wanna get into poly or if he even would because it’s complicated enough on its own.
He’d bring flowers, take them for walks in flower fields under the moonlight. He’d protect them, care for them, anything to make them happy. If his first relationship happens to be Awful and someone manages to break his heart, he’d be angry. Depending on the circumstances he might forgive them, but once that happens he’d just kind of avoid the hell out of them.
Cole likes the beauty of things.
I don’t think he’d have a type, per se. He’d be attracted to kind people, people who like to help as much as he does.
Expect a lot of shyness, a lot of questions, a lot of 'firsts’. He’s only ever experienced love second-hand from other people’s memories.
He’d be easily flustered. Expect a LOT of blushing when given a compliment.
He’s already very easy to confuse when it comes to double-entendres, reading the room, social niceties, etc. So his partner would probably need to help him around that to keep things more discreet.
You know all those fluffy romantic tropes in fics? Yep. All of them. Every single wholesome thing is probably something he’d do.
At the core of it all: He’s kind. He puts others above him every time, even to his own detriment. That’s why it would be really easy to manipulate him if he can’t read you enough. Hopefully, that wouldn’t happen ;w;
If he’s the one who needs help then he’ll get confused and maybe a little self-deprecating when his partner helps him. Things like “I should be helping you, not the other way around.”
Stuff like that. Angst, but wholesome angst.
Seriously though talking about sex in relation to Cole is so weird because again he’s had other people’s memories and fantasies in his head. Like when he talked to Bull about the lady in the tavern. In the book, it’s stated that he’s literally seen some of the mages naked and it’s implied he’s even seen some of them doing it but eventually he stopped because It Was Fucking Awkward To See.
So I still have no idea what to feel about that subject??? I want to dispel the idea that autistic people can’t be sexual but yeah for sure smut’s never gonna happen on this blog.
Firstly because it’s a controversial topic with Cole and secondly bc I want to keep this in the Mature range and not the Explicit range. If anything even close to that SOMEHOW happens (with like a shit ton of chemistry and a LOT of interaction) then it will fade to black.
I am truly, genuinely pissed tumblr wants to treat gore like taboo. Many people simcerely enjoy it for different reasons. Me included. What one may call shock factor (that includes several other topics tumblr staff encourages to be reported) on itself is inseperable from horror as a whole. From history. From nature. Reality is not kind, neither is human imagination. I am someone who lives and breathes such subjects, and I feel upset some whiny motherfuckers obsessed with remaining politically correct desire to limit my freedom of expression. I hope my followers are folks who understand, as well as appreciate things beyond rainbow and sparkles just like I do. If not them, then respect my choice of what content to share. I know I speak a lot of controversial shit because I know a lot of shit this is why I am where I am, I couldn’t go get a job with all I know it just seemed to me like a waste, and I don’t want to be rude or mean or anything like that I have my limits like all of us, ain’t no body perfect the problem is that we hate somehow this is the curse that we have we have been cursed to hate each other by…
i hope that this message doesn’t trigger anything for you (and if you answer, i hope it doesn’t trigger any of your followers), if it does, my deepest apologies. truly. do you think that s*icide is something that’s reasonable/justified or do you think it’s cowardly/selfish? i’m in a place where i really cannot find a reason to keep going on, but i have less of will to act on that than i used to as a teenager (i’m 22). just curious about outside perspectives bc, again, i’m in an odd place.
Objectively speaking, some folks see suicide as their only way out of a desperate situation, some see it as spineless action of a self-indulgent, dramatic, precious, or otherwise cornered individual. Taking the so-called “easy way out” can be gruesome, bloody, and painful — especially if one fails and lives to die another day. Personally speaking, I’ve slowly learned that suicide isn’t so much about cowardice as much as it is a lack of endurance. Suicide, while hardly an act of bravery, isn’t one of cowardice either. It takes guts to get that gun, go out on a ledge, stick your head in the oven, gobble a bunch of pills, etc...and take that final, fatal plunge. It takes even more, though, to step away from it and let life go on.
Since I’m no one’s paid or licensed therapist, I’d say that in your case, it’d be beneficial to see a professional to get some clarity on your specific outlook.
Vince on Controversial Subjects: Violent Video Games
I’m still unsure on where I stand with this. On one hand, I don’t mind them at all and play them quite often myself. On the other hand, I definitely see the detriment to having them.
But the people who make the games aren’t the problem, not in the slightest bit. It’s ignorant parents and children who con their parents into buying them.
Once I read a story about a mom who went to get their kid a new game they asked for. It happened to be rated M and the store clerk mentioned this. When the mom found out what an M rating meant, they took all of the M rated games they had and sold them.
As a kid who played M rated games before I was 17 (yes, M is 17+, not 18+), I would have been furious. Some would say that the kid was making use of their mother’s ignorance in order to play games they knew they shouldn’t. This is true, some of the time, but that shouldn’t be the point. The point is that these ESRB ratings have existed for years and for a specific reason. If parents ignore these reasons, that’s on them. They shouldn’t punish their kid or take away their things if they didn’t know something they should have in the first place.
Plus, if the kid had been playing these games for years, the parents must know something about how “bad” these games are just from the names and cover. Call of Duty really isn’t hiding all that much. Or maybe parents are just that ignorant.
Maybe I have more of a beef with parents than with violent video games.

FDA Approves New GMO Foods: Apples And Potatoes
Genetically-modified food is one of the most controversial subjects today. Not only are regulations loose and manufacturers getting away with not labeling them, they’re being approved at an alarmingly swift rate without the appropriate long-term health assessment. The Food and Drug Ad...
