A silver fox | 1977 | Mar, Doe & Edward
It had been a busy morning, lots of meetings with idiots who weren’t able to put two and two together. Why was he in charge of the relations between Gringotts and other Wizarding Banks? He would never know, he wasn’t a patient man and stupidity was something that always got on his nerves, no matter in which language he had to speak. Now he had a trip, the following day he had to go to the United States for a week and a few days, so Edward decided to floo to his brother’s place for dinner. He never announced himself, it was as if that house was his as well, even if it wasn’t, of course.
He removed his cloak and headed towards the kitchen, where he heard some noises, some female noises. It was probably Marlene with Amelia Bones. No, not Amelia Bones.
“Hello” Edward greeted them and approached to Marlene, he kissed the top of her head and squeezed her shoulder gently.
Dorcas had been staying with her for a few days. They had gone out, spent most of the afternoons sunbathing by the swimming pool and eating junk food, just the usual stuff. Seventh year was just around the corner and Marlene wanted to enjoy her last summer before joining the real world.
At the moment, she and Dorcas were about to have tea, they were waiting for Willa, the house elf, to finish the cake. She was telling her friend about this hot bloke she hooked up with the day before she arrived when her uncle arrived. Marlene wasn’t too surprised since he was almost always there. “Hey” she smiled at him and then looked at her friend. “This is Dorcas, she’s staying with us for a few days” she explained.
