It had been a while since Joshua had done a live stream from home with a bunch of delivery food so he figured that was what he was going to do for today's session. It had also been a while since he had someone join him in one of his live streams so he pulled out his phone and looked through his contacts to see who he could ask. Upon spotting Jimin's name, he tapped the message button.

[ ✉ ] Having fried chicken and pizza tonight [ ✉ ] Gonna live stream [ ✉ ] Want to come hang out?

“  you looked so peaceful while you were sleeping…i couldn’t bring myself to wake you up.  ” 

Ever since the two of them had bumped back into each other, they have gotten a lot closer than Joshua thought they'd ever be ever again. Of course, they still had the awkward situation between them every once in a while but things have gotten so much more relaxed and comfortable which also meant that they were spending more time together and that included Joshua coming over to Jaemin's place to hang out.

Joshua had spent the majority of the day roaming the city in order to find a couple of new locations he could possibly go to film some mukbang in the future and when he got back to the apartment complex, he dropped by Jaemin's place to see if he was home and thankfully, he was.

After ordering some takeout food, they settled down on the couch for a movie night but halfway through the second movie, Joshua just couldn't manage to keep his eyes open anymore and eventually dozed off. He must've been more exhausted than he thought he was.

When he woke up, it was early morning and it took him a while to realize that he was still on Jaemin's couch, covered in a blanket. Stretching his arms, he let out a small and quiet groan before he nudged the blanket off to the side and got up. Jaemin didn't seem to be awake yet and for a moment he debated on whether or not he should just leave but knowing his way around the apartment, he figured he might as well go ahead and make some coffee for the both of them rather than just disappear after having spent the night.

When Joshua heard Jaemin come out of his bedroom not too long after he had started to the coffee maker, he immediately turned to him and looked at him with a soft apologetic smile while rubbing the back of his neck. "Sorry for falling asleep on you... again.", he chuckled, "Why didn't you wake me up?"

"You looked so peaceful while you were sleeping… I couldn’t bring myself to wake you up.", Jaemin replied which made Joshua chuckle once more.

"You weren't staring at me, were you?", he asked, clearly joking which the smirk tugging on his lips indicated. "Well, the least I could do is make us some coffee. Should be done soon."

There was hardly ever a time Joshua wasn't himself with the exception being when he was really nervous. Unfortunately, that was exactly the case after he got invited to a mukbang by one of his favorite streamers. Being the nervous wreck he was, he decided to visit Jaemin for some advice but hearing to just be himself wasn't exactly easing his mind.

Letting out a sigh, he looked at Jaemin with a slightly pouty expression. "I mean, he wouldn't have invited me if he didn't like me, right? So I really shouldn't worry but I feel like my mind is racing at 200 miles an hour."

“ there’s still magic in a heart that’s been broken. ”

Joshua had no idea how they ended up talking about broken hearts and whether or not a broken heart still has the spark left that’s needed to believe that it can flower, flourish, and most of all love again. Though it wasn’t a conversation he would usually have, he didn’t really mind.

“I agree but I guess people who get their heart broken believe that they’ll never love anyone ever again. But they usually come around and realize that they are capable of loving again, they just need to give it time and give their heart some time to heal. Do you believe someone can die from a broken heart? I think I’ve read it somewhere but I don’t think that’s something that can actually happen, do you?”
