Person A is a famous gamer that had to hire a bodyguard to escort them whenever they’re leaving the house, after a series of stalkers, crimes committed against them, harassment, etc. Person B is a skilled bodyguard and looks fairly unassuming, but has also never played a computer game and is confused how Person A even became a celebrity, but does their job diligently and well. But when Person A is going on a trip to a convention/event, Person B has to spend more time than usual with them. While the two are sharing a hotel room, Person A offers to teach Person B to play some of the games Person A has gotten famous for.

“Oh, come on Dean! Jesus Christ, since when are you such a prude?” You whine, sitting on your bed. “I’ve been talking about this convention since forever, you know damn well I wanna go.”

“I don’t want to go because we’re nearing exam season, Miss Smart-Ass.” He says, spinning around in my chair. “Besides, the whole thing seems shady as hell.”

“Please. As if you haven’t been to shadier parties. I already have my outfit. I spent months putting it together. You already have your costume as well and damn well know that we’re ready for those exams.”

“Look, you think I want to end up in a hotel bathtub with my kidney carved out in Chechnya?” He blurts out, making one of your eyebrows raise.

“Dude, you’ve been watching way too much Criminal Minds.” You laugh. “Now, the con is in a few hours and I gotta get ready. Get lost.”

He gets up and saunters off, annoyed he didn’t get his way.

An hour later, you’re standing outside Dean’s bedroom, waiting for him.

“C’mon dude, I’m all set and I had to do make-up and whatnot!! Get out!”

“I look ridiculous.”

“That’s bullshit and you know it.” You say, rolling your eyes. “We both know you look amazing with that costume. If only you were an actor…”

He finally opens the door and comes out, making you let out an excited squeal.

“You look fucking awesome!” You jump up and down excitedly. “I can’t believe we’re finally doing this!”

“Yeah, yeah, don’t get too excited. I can’t promise I’ll wear this whole day.” He grumbles as you almost sprint your way to the car.

“This is so awesome!”

You hop your way into the main hall, almost squealing upon all the fandom apparatus.

“This is amazing.” Your inner fangirl claws her way out and takes over, making you ridiculously happy.

“It’s cool.” Dean says. “People are staring at us though.”

You look around and check for yourself; he’s right. A girl comes up to you, camera on hand, smiling.

“Hi! I run a cosplay-based Tumblr, and also work with an online newspaper about comics and conventions and your cosplays are amazing! Do you mind if I take a picture?” She blabbers, looking at you excitedly.

“Sure!” You reply, grabbing your prop gun; you set it with the end against your foot and look away as she snaps the pictures. “You got it?”

“Yeah! Can I take one of your friend too?” She asks. You look at Dean and he nods, making her grab her camera and snap the picture as he gives her a tough face.

“OMG, you guys are so awesome. I don’t want to be much of a pain, but can I take a pic of you two together?” She asks, making puppy eyes.

“Sure!” You say again, posing beside Dean as she takes the picture.

“Thank you so much! Can I get your names or one of your social media handles?” She requests, handing you a little notebook. You quickly scribble ‘Dean Winchester-Captain America; (Y/N) (Y/L/N)-Winter Soldier’ along with your Instagram and Twitter handles. “Thank you!”

You both wave her away before strolling your way through the convention and getting your passes for the photo OP with Anthony Mackie, Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan.

A staff member guides you to the waiting room, where you take selfies with the rest of the people waiting. Slowly, people start going in to a secluded room, and you can feel your nerves pick up.

“What if I screw up?” You say to Dean as your turn gets closer. “Oh God, I can feel it. I’m going to screw it up.”

“You’re not.”

“What if they hate me? What if they hate the cosplay?”

“Only if it is for being too good.”

“Not helping!!”

“Chill out, they’re not going to hate you. You’re impossible to hate. Believe me, I’ve tried.” He says, earning a shocked gasp and a punch to the shoulder. You take off your mask, trying to breathe better as you realize you’re up next. “The only way you’re going to fuck this up is if you pass out before or during our photo, so hold it together!”

You nod, feeling your mouth go dry as the staff member comes to get you for your turn. You grab Dean’s hand as the two of you get escorted to the small room. As soon as you get in, you can feel the air leaving your lungs; standing before you are the 3 actors that you’ve looked up to for nearly the last decade.

“Heyy, it’s the Winter Soldier!” Mackie pipes up. “I better be careful with my car, I don’t want to get my steering wheel ripped off again.”

That got a laugh out of you, your left hand still gripping Dean’s.

“Her arm might as well be bionic vibranium like Bucky’s, she’s got a hell of a grip on Cap’s hand.” Sebastian says, smiling. You immediately let go of Dean’s hand and smile nervously. “Don’t be afraid, we’re not going to do anything.”

“I might, I’m fearing for my job because of Cap over there. If he had auditioned, he might’ve gotten the role.” Chris says, grinning. Dean laughs, rubbing the back of his neck.

“As if.” He brushes it off, waving his hand. “Well, I’m Dean, this is (Y/N), she’s the big fan and I’m pretty much emotional support.”

The 4 men laugh and you blush, feeling embarrassed.

“So you’re not together?” Mackie asks, making you cough and Dean choke on air. “Oh, I see.”

He smirks as the photographer tells you to take your marks, the 5 of you making a pose. Last minute, Mackie pushes you and Sebastian pushes Dean, the two of you smashing together in the middle of the photo frame. Dean holds you upright and you can’t help but pull him down and kiss him like you’ve been wanting to for months.  The 3 men cheer loudly and Dean’s hands find your jawline as the camera captures the photo.

“I got Falcon’s eyes!”

“Why were you so fixated in not going to the con though?” You ask Dean as the two of you get back to your dorm.

“Because I was planning to do what they did for us.” He says sheepishly, plopping down on your couch. You plop down next to him in the couch, opening Netflix on your TV and selecting Civil War.

“They deserve it, don’t even dare to try and talk me out of it.” You grumble jokingly, leaning against Dean as he plants a kiss on top of your head.

“True.”

Character A has a talent that you wouldn’t really expect someone to have: they can play Tetris REALLY WELL. No one knows why or how, but they’ve held the record for online Tetris in the nation for a full three years. Thinking they have what it takes, they sign up for a Tetris tournament...which turns out to be one of the most hardcore places they’ve ever seen.
