Brooklyn based electro singer/songwriter goste has just released his third EP, Eugene, featuring the single Loadedlikeapistol. Dubbing his harsh yet rich, early 90's style voice over itself to create a haunting series of rounds over dark electronic sounds and guitar, Loadedlikeapistol is a beautiful yet coarse song with unique depth.
goste celebrates the release of Eugene December 4th at Cameo Gallery, after which he launches a brief Northeastern tour to kick off the EP.
Cailey Lindberg of EarMilk.com describes goste as "one of those rare producers in experimental electronic music who adds his own vocals to tracks instead of using samples," which in turn allows his music to "seamlessly transfer into an offbeat performance, art space, or any venue where people come to really listen to music." The transformative properties of his music are addictive, and will keep you listening over and over again to his edgy rock vocals.
Below is a live performance of goste's Loadedlikeapisto at Converse Rubbertracks in Brooklyn; be sure to catch him out on tour!
