(”Finished all of my paperwork...now what to do...~”) It was a lazy afternoon on this particular day and Bobby pondered on how he should spend it. He was probably to maybe take a stroll around the town or just relax in the house watching TV.
Right now, he was idly looking out the window, admiring how nice it looked in the sky. But right before he was about to leave the window and decide how he’ll kill time, he saw a certain someone walking down the neighborhood.
“!!!!!!!” He wasn’t sure if Simon knew Bobby lived in this neighborhood, but either way, it was funny to see him here of all places; so of course, he was going to greet him from the window, sticking his head out of it to wave down at him while yelling out,
“HEEEEEY, Prosecutor Blackquill!! Up here, up here! What are you doing around here, hah hah!”

Avoidance is something he masters in, and he proves it by looking away, ash hues rooting themselves to the floor as his bangs fall into his face. He lets out a huff of a bitter chuckle, heart imprisoned securely, thus leaving it unable to receive proper love and care. ❝ If there is something I don’t deserve, it’s your loyalty towards me. ❞ Blues fall from his lips before he can swallow them back, smile tainted with anguish. It proves difficult to believe in the good in himself, he can’t seem to find the logic for it, but it’s evident that logic simply can’t win these never-ending battles. The Chief Prosecutor lets out a sigh, then lifts his gaze to meet his subordinate’s. Even if he excels in avoidance, he can’t do it forever. ❝ I... You have my gratitude, Simon, truly. I appreciate your belief in me, I simply wish I can see it myself at times. ❞

❛ ━━━━ THANK YOU, FATHER. ❜ it’s genuine. the way the words leave his lips left him dizzy from the formality. though the attention fills his head with air, floating off the ground to collide with the sun. it’d been the first time he’d ever received any sort of acknowledgement for the day of his birth from ikari gendo, the man who’d given him a name. the air that filled his head seeped slowly from his ears & left him him swimming in the setting sun. yellow splotches of color on the walls, the color meant to portray happiness.
❛ ━━━━ are– are you staying for the party? ❜

while ikari-san may not agree with her, rei has always seen gendo to be a polite man ... sure he could be callous, but he did provide her with a home, food, and medical care ( despite the fact she can be easily replace ) . he even consider going out and having a small dinner party with shinji and the other pilots; surely he wasn’t as cold as everyone thought him out to be. when she walks into the elevator and notices him, she flashes one of her rare, generous smiles at the older man. “ how’s your day been, sir? “
COMMAND [w. Convictus]
Avery had never been in this part of NERV HQ before. He had never been asked to - that is, one never really goes there unless given permission or is of a sufficient rank. Least, that’s about as much as he knew from his copilots and from Katsuragi.
But the Seventh Child at least knew who he was going to meet.
He didn’t know if he knew a thing about him, or if he knew everything already. All he understood was, his son didn’t like him much, and that he essentially was a god among men at NERV, key to the whole operation. And that everyone had respect for him to some degree.
Well, he thought. I guess I’d better show as much respect as I can, then.
He stood at the doors. With a sigh, the pilot of Unit-07 entered.
“Good afternoon, Commander Ikari,” he said, a stern yet calm look on his face as he stood across from the man himself. “Good to finally meet you, I suppose.”
