It’s strange how you grow up, either learning or convincing yourself, that certain things are meant to be a specific way, no exceptions, because that’s just how it is. Then later you realize that you never really had a reasonable explanation. I continue to tell myself that it’s better that I don’t know or that I shouldn’t understand reasons or that I shouldn’t know those answers to those questions… because I’m unwilling to accept that I can’t always be happy.
