Shout out to nineteenth century trans men for making a character I'm building history accurate.
The multiple days of deep dive research was worth it.
I love that so many of them were either doctors or musicians,
And the fact that a lot of times nobody knew what they were until they died?
Legendary.
Some of these men had wives and adopted children who didn't even know,
Absolutely legendary.
Also it's the 1900's so they were all dressed snazzy as f#ck,
Like why don't we all wear snazzy suits any more?
One of them was known as a lady's man, a heartbreaker, you cannot make this stuff up.
Or basically, trans history makes my inner history buff gnaw on the bars of its enclosure.
