Maria rarely had cause to go shopping but she did so more often than not for a browse, to explore the town and its people... This time she had another motive; to try and digest the disturbing information Desmond had imparted to her during their last meeting. She was torn, utterly and completely between the truth of what Noah had done in his past so long ago and the man who’d spoken to well to and of her in their first meeting and again in the town...
