Tim would definitely not mind the touch. Working innocently beside you on his computer screen but his foot is stretched to the side so you have even more access to it. If you two are there for a long time (sometimes you are because paperwork is a bitch) you might sway your foot side to side, taking Tim's with it. He'll just smile and keep typing, thinking about how happy he is to have made you his second in command.
But! Consider! Tim and you made a special knock on the door so Tim knows it's you and can put his guard down a bit and relax. Whenever you use the special knock its usually when you stop in during lunch or to bring him dinner maybe pull him away to his couch for some cuddles . It gets to the point where whenever Tim hears the knock he instantly perks up. Sometimes you just have to knock regularly because professionalism and all that, but just imagine Tim's happy little smile when he hears the knock ><
