oh i could never do the "ship you hate" bingo for clois!!! i love them!!! they literally invented love. her nosy streak vs all his secrets. the way she finds out his secrets and then becomes so devoted to keeping them and keeping him safe!! his overprotectiveness vs his trust in her to take care of herself. and the way she can tell him to back off and he does and then they both have a giggle about her beating some creep up with a metal pipe! the way he gets kidnapped on their honeymoon and figures hey, if i keep this guy focused on torturing me, he won't notice lois sneaking in to save me, vs lois sneaking in and seeing clark getting tortured through the window and going HOW FUCKING DARE YOU. EXPLOSION. EXPLOSION. EXPLOSION. the way they both admire each other so much - lois's commitment to the truth and to justice is clark's ideal. she symbolizes what he fights for. augh! who is doing it like them????
