So you guys know how Kingdom does those livestreams to hint at future updates? Ovenbreak just told us what all the updates up to the 9th anniversary are

End of April (so this month, very soon): Caramel Choux and Cream Ferret coming to Ovenbreak

End of May: Longan Dragon and Lychee Dragon candies and legendary costumes maybe???

End of June: Finale to the Dragon storyline, I'm 98% sure

End of July: Crepe in Ovenbreak as well as one other cookie, if it was Espresso they'd be showing it as Espresso behind them

End of August: Very clearly legendary cookie, Google Translate says that they're an evil c*lt leader

End of September: Return of Cookie Detective

End of October: 9th anniversary, we get Milky Way in Ovenbreak and have some Dream Bead collection event with Dreamweaver

Hey since the events almost over let me babble a bit

theres are strong arguments for both Steak and Escargot and its driven me crazy honestly

yes yes all that obvious talk of how the signs of Almonds attack points to Steak BUT ALSO Steak was the only one to admit to being with Almond before others found him unconscious

so thats one thing

the other thing thats nagging me is Escargot's gunbrella that literally has not come into story play yet. now tell me, cookie runners, if they have "eyecing" instead of eyes and sugar instead of sweat and fucking,,,,,uhhhhhhh cotton candy wool instead of normal cotton

why the fuck do we think she has no shit legit just regular ass gunpowder? do we not think she would have some cookieified version of gunpowder? and what would be a suitable cookie replacement for gunpowder? thats right. charcoal. because it can be lit on fire and it makes sense to not say gunpowder in a food based kids game

forgive me for being a little pepe silva with this but i think Escargot tried to shoot Almond at some point. ace attorney has taught me that if a gunshot is too close, the smell of the gunpowder burn would be present, now im not fully letting go of Steak, honestly it could be both of them but thats not how this game mode works

im just saying, that fact that Escargots strapped has to be talked about at some point right? RIGHT??

Chili Pepper and Dr Bones obviously have no motive and no evidence leading to them

Roguefort is an obvious red herring, they obviously didn’t write the card (confirmed by them + the writing style of the message not lining up with how they usually write) and also have no motive (confirmed by them), and aren’t the type to attack anyone. Although there is a discrepancy between Dr Bones’ testimonial about the monocle and Roguefort’s one, with Dr Bones saying it was flung off and Roguefort saying they simply dropped it, but it seems impossible for either of them to be guilty so I’m still not sure on why there’s a contradiction.

So the only two choices are Steak and Escargot, and I think I’m leaning towards Steak (due to him dodging Walnut’s questions + him going there to lay a trap while Roguefort mentions the incident was probably a trap) but I’m not super confident tbh.

There’s also a lot of mentions of seeing Escargot around the cargo hold before the incident/shortly after the incident (Steak + Chili Pepper + Dr Bones), even though Escargot says she left, but it’s likely that it’s just Roguefort in disguise.

A lot of people are also saying Steak could have set a trap for smugglers and then Almond was accidentally caught in it, but the forged letter deliberately given to Almond implies that there’s no way it was an accident, unless I’m missing something here?? Help??

My brain hurts I give up. I might just vote Steak
