got brain rot abut this idea and have to get it out- but firewalker being the one to infect windarcher. Specifically because I think it’s funny if the one cookie wind archer tried to desperately keep away from y/n cookie pre-infection was the one to reunite windarcher with y/nwalker during the infection. Since we know wind has tension with fire, and probably was the most vocal of the legendarys about y/n not interacting with him.
Also because i think it’s funny as shit to imagine when windwalker finally comes too after being infected for the first time and first thing it sees other than y/n walker cooing over him is just firewalker leering behind them ominously scowling at windwalker the entire time bc of the special treatment hes getting.
The tension is still there, but since the legendary walkers are kinda scarily possessive, it’s probably abit more reciprocated on firewalkers end this time.
Heart Amongst Legends
(This does give me the opportunity to elaborate on the legendaries! Even if this did end up being an entire length fic. Hope that’s all good with ya!)
Legendaries who originally had not much reason to loathe Fire Spirit, now do so when the topic of you came up. When it wasn’t Sea Fairy that he had to compete against, to which she did an annoying job of butting in into time between the two of you she had no reason to be in, Moonlight can also prove to be an annoyance as well when she can also pop in unannounced when the other two couldn’t.
However, it was Windarcher that Fire Spirit considered his main rival. That no good protector of the forest would not hesitate to slander Fire Spirit by labeling him a fallen spirit that had no chance of purification, a cookie like you shouldn’t be seen with him.
Windarcher will make it a significant point among the other legendaries that it was for the best that you stick with them and just drop FS. It didn’t take much for Moonlight and Sea Fairy to be convinced if it meant more time would be open for them to spend time with you.
Sea Fairy wanted to gaze into the ocean waves as she leaned onto you, so she can feel the warmth of your heart. She had this feeling of security with you, like she knew she wouldn’t freeze anymore if she had you by her side. She didn’t want to suppress these feelings she had and wanted to express them as much as possible. She really would look at your face until dawn, she really does believe fate brought the two of you together. It was this that she steadily grew irritated with how much she would spot you AND Fire Spirit together 75% of the time. That SHOULD’VE BEEN time spent with her instead..
Moonlight was more willing to be patient and wait out her opportunities to take up ANY free time you have to be spent with her. But GOD did it hurt that many chances were quickly taken away by one of the three others, she didn’t want to intrude on their time spent with you and she thought they felt the same. If she ever did heard that the three others do in fact barge in on each other, yep, all bets are off. She could see you in her dreams, but she wanted those dreams to be a reality, where it was just the two of you. If this competition ramps up, she doesn’t think she can hold back her patience any longer.
Fire Spirit saw the competition he had with the others, but he didn’t mind it, he knew he had your heart in the bag. You were there for him at a time where he truly believed that he couldn’t find a soul that cared about him as much as you did, hence why he’s not keen to letting you go anytime soon. However, this meant drawing the attention and ire of the other legendaries, who were surprised to be seeing YOU, a cookie that they cherished with all their hearts, to be fond of Fire Spirit of all cookies. Windarcher was especially bothered with this news, why HIM?! Just when it seemed he had no further business with this cookie, he managed to crawl back into his life by meeting you. You really did see the beauty in every cookie if you were friends with FS, and that’s what they love about you~.
So the epic arguments began. Windarcher started the Fire Spirit slander, two can okay this game as time spent with you Fire Spirit would use to poke fun at Windarcher. Sea Fairy and Moonlight would take their shots in between the two, which aggravated both of them. This was their fight, a fight Windarcher felt like he wanted to end permanently.
Just when things were getting, they were going to get way worse…
Windarcher could only stumble backwards as the power of Firewalker was too much for him. He and several other cookies had engaged a group of walkers, this horde not proving much difficulty. Their objective was to clear the area of walkers, but in Windarcher’s, and he believed in the other legendaries’ minds too, their own personal objective was to hopefully find you amongst this apocalypse. Hopefully safe and sound as they obliterate any Walker who dared to try and touch you.
There was even this unofficial bet on who got the most vanquishes in the end. Winner gets a whole day with you. You better believe they’re just instantly vibe checking any Walker they can attack. Fire Spirit giving Windarcher a smirk as he lit some walkers on fire. He responded by shooting down a group of them with his arrows. The hunt was on.
“Feel the wrath of the sea!” “Ha, is that all?! Time to heat this place up!”
They cleared the first area with success as they made their way to the second. It was not good…
A horde with more familiar cookies who were a hell of a lot more dangerous then the last group, there was even a god damn Jellied Mandragora with them. The situation turned critical when the attack started, the power of this horde was far more substantial then anticipated. They almost seemed enraged.
As if they were guarding something, or someone, from danger.
“Something terrible is coming! I can sense it in the wind!” “Aaaah! Where did they call come from!?” “That mandragora is gigantic!” “This dream is a terrible nightmare! Something evil is coming…”
Windarcher couldn’t fall now, he had to find you! He shot down as many walkers as his bow would allow, which seemed to further anger the horde. He lost track of the other cookies, not paying attention as they were overwhelmed one by one. Windarcher felt like he was the last one standing as the walkers came at him with a much higher rate. Dodging, shooting, ducking. The horde slowly closed in as Windarcher felt himself slow and tire out, the horde just kept coming at him, it felt like there was no end to their numbers.
His efforts would be halted as he felt the area around him suddenly cast alight. He quickly moved out of the away and gazed upon his attacker.
He gazed into the eyes of his now infected adversary whom he was just fighting alongside with mere minutes ago, he saw..nothing. Jellywalkers and their immunity to pain meant none of Windarcher’s attacks fazed the fire wielding cookie much, if at all. He only watch as infected cookie set him ablaze with an infectious fire, Windarcher could only fall to the ground as he felt the virus consume him, thoughts of the forest and you being his last thoughts as he felt his vision go dark…
Even in his now Windwalker state, he could recognize the feeling of a certain someone shaking him awake as they cooed at him. The infected cookie opened his now jellybean eyes to see..you. Infected. Just like him. He leaned to the side a bit to see a familiar face scowling at him in annoyance as Y/N Cookie gave their attention to him. It was only right of them to introduce Windwalker to the horde where he saw more familiar faces.
If you thought things were bad before, they’re about to be here. Windwalker was treated warmly by Y/N Cookie for a while, which resonated with his past memories with you. All the more reason to stick by you and protect you with all his might, something that Firewalker now more openly objects to with growls and yells from him.
The immunity to pain meant they could get more physical with each other by punches and shoves, they’re stopped there before the incoming fight disrupts the horde.
Seawalker is also far more vocal with her Firewalker protests as well, but not to the level with Windwalker, she usually just keeps screaming and yelling at him. No way that even in jellification that she as gonna allow this moronic cookie take you away from her.
Moonwalker bides her time until all 3 are occupied until she swoops you up and away. Her infection meant she became more bold with her feelings as she would like to float you around to places in her arms. Sometimes she wished the horde left you alone for the night if it meant gazing upon the night sky aimlessly alongside you.
You could only hope they get along soon and learn to share amongst themselves, but when will that ever happen?
Okay what about other cookies, like the epics from crk, the evil cookies from both (again) crk and cr oven break, e.t.c. What if they all got infected? Like rye, or the evil cookies, idk
Various Cookies as Jellywalkers
Been a hot minute since I’ve done Jellywalker AU related stuff. :O
Caramel Arrow Walker would keep overwatch of you from a distance. She retains enough intelligence to keep her memories of you and her skills as the First Watcher. Her aim is a little wobbly, but she’s still pretty damn accurate with that bow. Ferocious in close combat, she ranks high on being a guardian walker to you. Oh yeah, she also shares any jellied boba tea she’s got with you.
Cookies who take you away from the group are considered crooks to Rye Walker and activate that part of her infected side as she hunts down the Y/N Cookie thieves. A living zombie with guns is a nightmare to any crooks who plan on taking you away, she’s pretty much aiming to crumble at this rate, so don’t expect mercy, they forfeited that when they chose to kidnap you. Expect her on the frontlines when she can take care of those goons right away.
The plans to assimilate you into the Cookies of Darkness worked! In a way. Pomegranate, Poison Mushroom, Affogato, Red Velvet, Lobster, the Chess Twins, Licorice, and Earl Grey all had their own methods of swiping you to join their side, why side with these pesky cookies of good when you can join them and Dark Enchantress! They’d treat you better! Well, even the CoD were no match for the unsurmountable force that was the jellywalker infection. And while in the end, DE is happy to see that you were convinced to come see her, she just didn’t expect you to come with both her now infected members and a massive horde in tow. The group joins the inner area of the horde, sharing what they find with you and gang up on other infected on who gets to give you a gift first.
Raspberry Walker is another one of the guardian walkers, though she’s butting heads with Pistachio, Knight, and Financier Walkers over who gets to stay close and protect you. More prone to show off her blade skills she somewhat retains to tell you that you need her and only her to keep you safe, the others will just slack off! This would give her the angry protests of the others, as if she would care at all about that.
Wildberry Walker especially is a guardian walker. His duty to protect those whom he holds dear carried on over to his infected state. The protecter of both Hollyberry Cookie and Y/N Cookie, all you would need to do is say the word and he’s charging head-on towards the enemy. His strength makes him a dangerous cookie, but that’s a plus for the mob considering his role. Just grumble at him to do so and he’s already pulverizing the wretched survivor into the ground.
Gift Mode | Keeping Quiet | Little Ones | Wandering Part 3 (Jellywalker AU)
One of you anons was pretty enthusiastic to request more of this AU. I did finish these sooner then I expected, so forgive me if there’s more goofs then usual in this 4 prompt post!
Gift Mode
Seeing you being gifted various amounts of trinkets and items by your horde members didn’t go undocumented by Wasabi Cookie. It would range from standard jellies to the rare rainbow jelly that they could find, this was another odd behavior indicated and displayed only in this horde, but considering this was your horde, she shouldn’t be surprised that the walker gang is displaying all manners of odd behaviors.
Of course, one way or another, the surviving gang finds out that the walkers coddle you for the time the infected isn’t attacking things. Cherry Cookie had half a mind to just head on over and blow them up, but Brave and the others settled her down. Fairy Cookie is just annoyed, if the walkers grow too close to you, then the chances of you willingly wishing to return back to normal grow dim. They had to change the tide by providing their own gifts to you too!
Ninja Cookie agrees on this aspect, he doesn’t wish for you to be uncomfortable and afraid for when they bring this proposition to you. Being forceful about it will mean you’re less likely to trust them, not to mention the obvious giant mass of walkers that will tear them to shreds if they step over the line. Wasabi can conclude that if the group is able to gain a more positive opinion from you, it should a breeze to offer the cure to you later
The gift-giving would begin when a horde member would bring you what they found up ahead, it was a bowl of jellies with a tag that says the name of who’ve brought it. The infected group are not familiar with this gesture, so they didn’t think much of it, or at all. You, still having the recollection of your memories, appreciated the gesture.
The more sensitive gift giving walker cookies like Blackberry or Cotton Candy probably will catch on to these gifts being delivered from outside forces from the way you smile and enjoy the gifts. This will increase their own gift giving efforts as the other members of the swarm follow after with their own attempts at giving gifts. This does lead to some in-fighting again over who can get the best type of gift for you.
But the main enemy of the gift giving were the culprits of these random gifts they keep finding in their path. They couldn’t even throw them away or ditch them as they didn’t wish to deny their horde heart of any possible sustenance, so they begrudgingly hand them to you.
The survivors are glad to see their efforts are working, but they can spot the swarm’s agitation at outside forces trying to get to their heart. They need to stay out of sight when giving more gifts in the future, something tells them the horde will not show mercy if they spot them….
Keeping Quiet
Even with your mind muddied by the infection, you can still have feelings of irritation, towards your own horde in particular. This usually happens if they fail to listen to what you had to say and act belligerently, leaving you angrily grumbling to yourself, it may leave the jellied cookies around you to awkwardly grumble and display a feeling of being apologetic to you.
Yes, they were trying to protect you, but if the surviving cookies meant no ill will, they are to be left alone. After a major incident involving the horde being triggered by an unintentional provocation by a group of survivors, you lead away from the group at the front, separating from them..and taking the lead.
Blackberry Walker and Firewalker tried to follow after you closely, but you made it clear that you wish to be away from the horde for a while. They were hurt, but they understood.
Other jellied cookies would try their luck in trying to earn your favor, but they were met with the same silence every time. It really sinks in to them that they’ve done messed up this time. With the near hivemind levels of the horde, they all come to the conclusion to try their best to win back your favor in a different way.
And that would be passing by groups of surviving cookies and NOT fly into a protective aggression against them. It was hard to wrangle the boss walkers into compliance without your help, but it was done. If they can show that they have the willpower to leave innocent survivors be, then you’ll have to accept them back!
The biggest test came when a young surviving cookie accidentally struck their bouncy ball at you, sending you back a little. A feeling of terror washed over you as you expected the swarm to immediately attack this cookie, but seconds came and went, and the horde was still behind you. Shaking in rage, but only just glaring at the cookie to get on out of there.
The cookie grabs their ball and runs off out of view, you felt the tension finally leave you as you turn to your horde, looking to you with anticipation, a gap in the group made for you to walk right into. You couldn’t have rejoined the mob quicker enough.
Little Ones
I had no idea that around the time I started writing, OliveNARA would make a Jellywalker crisis series. Y’all should check it out.
Unfortunately, the virus didn’t spare anyone, and that includes the younger cookies.
Younger cookies within the horde were protected by fellow members of the swarm, if it wasn’t Y/N Cookie, meaning harm to the little ones will earn you the fury of the infected. Any one of them that’s injured is quickly healed up by the infected healers in the group and you would hand them gifts as well to really bring them down to normal.
The younger cookies aren’t as aggressive as the others and tend to stay away from the fighting at the back of the horde, they’ll be moved back there by other walkers if a fight does pick up. They’re still treated with caution as they will attack if given no other choice. You wanted to stand at the frontline when it comes to protecting the little ones, but the swarm is insistent on keeping you at the middle while the strongest the horde has is at the front instead!
You’d spend time with Onion Walker alongside Blackberry Walker similarly to how you would back in the living days. You would be one of the few cookies that would stop her crying, Blackberry being the other.
The Chess Choco Walkers’ chess playing remain after the virus has struck them and would like to play with you every now and then. The infection does throw strategy out the window, but it makes the two cookies happy enough!
Walnut Walker still retains her detective skills as you would often join along with her to whatever random clue hunt her infected mind can bring up. She once found an old bowler hat that she gave you, an approving grumble leaving you as she liked how the hat fits you!
You and the other horde members treated the younger walkers with the care they needed. It seemed the infection left out the caring part of their minds if they could display this level of passiveness and even a sense of protectiveness for the little cookies.
Wandering Part 3
The group was relieved to see you brought back to normal, your eyes retained their shape again and the jelly is all gone from your body. The surviving cookies weee glad to see the cure had worked and it was great news to Wasabi, now she just needed to deliver this news to Aloe!
However, those plans may be wrenched a little when Moonlight Walker started to reactively twitch and recoil as she could feel the connection between her and Y/N Cookie severed as she convulsed..before letting out a shriek that sounded throughout the forest.
The horde was immediately called in and some were visibly caught by surprised to see Y/N Cookie not resembling then anymore and the connection in the head is broken, leaving them unable to directly pinpoint your feelings, location, etc. They can still recognize in the end and so did they for the Brave gang, but the Brave gang only infuriated the infected.
Moonwalker was thankfully able to snap out of her depressed stupor and making snarling and grumbling sounds to the infected gang, likely explaining the situation. They had to hold back a bunch of hate for the Brave gang for tainting your precious head with suggestions of this cure! It was for your sake however, so they held back on ripping them apart for now..
It was rather odd to merge back into your horde with your infection no longer persisting. You didn’t mind the continued gifts and offerings of food, but you were more watchful to see if they’re safe to eat, the cure would’ve been for nothing if you had gotten reinfected a little later. While the walkers were bummed out that you didn’t actively seek to reconnect your mind with theirs, they decided to just keep holding onto you. They didn’t trust those living cookies at all despite Brave making the proposition to create more of the cure for all of them.
You’d cross that bridge when you got to it, but for now, you had to knowingly manage your infected party who still treated you with the same level of care as previously. Perhaps waiting for more of the cure wouldn’t be so bad…
Hey can you part 2 of wandering where brave gang have found the cure and y/n have silent leaves the horde again but one member have follow y/n and start the alerts the others before the mob have a chance to attack brave gang y/n cookie stops and give the cure to y/n and they come back to normal
Wandering #2
I was gonna take Thanksgiving week off, but figured I’ll do one writing to commemorate an anon’s birthday today. Hope ya like it!
Finally, after countless encounters with the horde and many tests, Aloe Cookie can safely explain to the Brave gang that she and Wasabi have worked together to create a cure to the jellification process! They now feel that in order to test how effective it can be, they’re gonna need the cookie at the center of it all, you.
Aloe did not try to beat around the bush, the mob of infected will not take lightly to see the group again after their previous escapades with them. Gingerbrave refused to back down, he knows that if they at least tried, they could get their friend to come out away from the group again to administer the cure. They have to make sure that not even a single infected member doesn’t stray from the group to follow, they’ll need to sort of keep the mob passive and low active for them to drop their guard.
Wasabi gets a wicked grin on her face and suggest they could try a sort of sleep powder in the air to keep the horde slow enough to try and lure out Y/N Cookie into the open long enough to inject the cure!
You were in the middle of the group being coddled by walkers from all side, after the last situation, they’re particularly watchful of any disturbances around the group, being incredibly vicious to anything that came close. The last escapade from the Brave have really agitated them for a while. You were feasting on a jelly as you had Blackberry Walker and Moonlight Walker to your sides, either eating along with you or staring and cooing at you.
There were a multitude of bodyguard walkers wandering around to ensure that the annoying Brave gang didn’t try to pull a sneaky on them. Walkers can remember a face that’s brought them lots of trouble, which leads to them attacking right away anyone they can recognize.
You were finish eating when you notice that the walkers around started grumbling more slowly as some even got down on their knees or even fall to the ground, snoozing. You noticed a sort of powder falling in the air which may be the cause of this sudden sleeping situation. You then heard someone call out for you, you gently place down Blackberry who leaned on you as she slept. You turned to see Brave waving for you in the forest, to which you followed after him.
You probably should’ve checked if everyone was affected, as Moonlight Walker spotted you wandering off elsewhere as she got spooked and worried. She started to hurriedly wake up her fellow walkers, but the powder must’ve been a heavy amount, so she had no choice but to follow after Y/N Cookie to keep them safe herself.
Brave and the others gave their happy greetings to you as they gave you the news that they made a cure and hope to use it on you in hopes to bring you back to normal. Your infected mind didn’t comprehend the word “cure”, but if their faces and toned were anything, maybe it was good thing that you should try.
Wasabi watched from afar in anxiousness, she hoped the cure worked and brought you back to normal and didn’t do anything terrible like making you explode or something. She was so close to bringing you back to who you were before, as the all-loving cookie that brought many cookies in the land smiles, including her and Mustard. You just needed to drink the cure-
The bushes nearby rustled as Moonlight Walker bursted through, angrily yelling and wailing as she got in front of you and made the cookies back off. However, you were quick to hug her off her moon and bring her close, to which makes her relax near immediately, she was still growling at the surviving cookies. You groaned and mumbled to her on how this cure you had could fix things and go back to normal!
She was confused, what did you mean by back to normal? Wasn’t this a normal you liked? What was the normal before this that was better then right now? Does this mean they’ll no longer be together in mind and soul? You had to comfort Moonlight Walker and convince that it was for the best that this cure fixes everyone, no matter what, they’ll never forget Moonlight!
Moonlight sniffled as she eventually nodded her head and held your hand as you brought the vial to your mouth as you took a drink.

Various Cookies as Jellywalkers #2
All is well, though I will try to summarize a group of cookies like I did with the CoD in the previous part. May have tidbits from Cookie Odyssey, but will try to refrain from much spoilers.
Crunchy Walker and his now jellied Cream Wolf act similarly like Tiger Lily Walker and her jellied tiger, hunter walkers who are the first to respond to an event where you’re missing from the horde, Crunchy will raise a fuss against her over the role of providing your getaway in case of danger. He remembers you when Brave and the gang visited their kingdom, so he was already feeling uneasy on the fact he had to fight you. Eclair Walker still continues to collect anything he deems of substantial value, however what he deems as a wonderful specimen was you! They’re SHOOK when the two cookies came back with you…..and a group of jellywalkers within the airship, it didn’t take long for the republic to fall under siege. It starts within the group with Baumkuchen Cookie examining a cookie when the infected lunged at him, force feeding the tainted jelly. He saw many things, Y/N Cookie being a major one. Every positive thing about you was correct, and so much more…it was why the mob followed in the first place. The others had to see this, no, experience this…experience you….first it was Mille, then Canele, Sable, Caviar, Vanilla Sugar, Custard, Mulled Juice, before finally reaching Oyster. They’re now one of many within the mob, a passive role of taking care of you with Caviar and Oyster capable of defending you. Perhaps they did manage to score that meeting with you after all…

The Ancients, outside of the legendaries, are THE most dangerous of the horde and the last cookies you want to see stand against you. It is recommended to not, under any circumstances, approach the horde if you see them. It starts with White Lily and Pure Vanilla showing sympathy and worry over your infected self, signaling the mob to keep back. They wish to reunite with you, and you did just that. Now you wish for the others to follow, you didn’t want the horde to possibly hurt them. Cacao tried to refuse, but seeing Cheese and Holly willing to be with their dearest again had left him alone with his decision. He..does not wish for that. All of them are now your fiercest protectors, their power alone means that every manner of filth stand no chance. Cacao is especially violent with them, he hates to see his dearest get hurt on his watch..
Black Pearl Cookie would always expect you to see her out in the Duskgloom Sea, she’s grown far too attached for you to simply allow you to disappear on her. When you didn’t show up for at least today, she’ll be at the shore searching for you. She waits until you eventually showed up, an infected you. She shrieks at the group beyond you, she acts quick and held onto you in her arms and splashing away the mob with a wave. She would later return to the shore, a now infected sea monster. She feels if she was also infected, she could be way closer to you then before, and when she felt the two of you become one through a hivemind-like link, she was very much giddy. She’s your partner of the waters, though she could care less about the rest of the horde, they can become soggy for all she cares, but tolerates them for you.
Frost Queen Cookie would’ve never had let you leave her ice palace if she knew there was a infection running around, and now she faces you and your mob. Like BP, she could care less about your mob, but would take you with her, care for you as she tried to find methods for a cure. You were her warmth through the endless cold, she won’t let you escape her grasp. The horde would batter at the doors, angrily screaming as they demand the return of their heart. Why can’t they all freeze to death already, but her getting infected would come quicker. The circumstances to her infection is undetermined, but the doors would open to see you and her hand and hand, now sharing an infectious bond that brought her warmth like none other…
