I was reminded of this meme recently, so I had to draw it with Khalan and Aya just because xD it's a bit OOC for Aya (she normally hates being out in the rain), but also the silly vibes fit her so well that I just couldn't resist, lol!

I was inspired by @cookieg122's art of Aya in a kimono-style dress from this collection of sketches, so I decided to draw both Khalan and Antony alongside her in similar attire!

we had talked about the idea of the kids going to some kind of summer festival after the events of Act III (which has now been changed to be the act where Khalan gets Really Sick and Antony gets involved), so this is generally what they'd probably wear for the festival; which takes place on the Japanese-inspired island that they're staying on.

also felt like this was a good opportunity to make this into a height chart of sorts for the characters, because I haven't really done that yet. so here it is, haha!

so @cookieg122 and I have been playing Stardew Valley again, since the game updated somewhat recently and we wanted to try it out. we decided to play as Antony and Bevin this time (feat. a VERY baby Antony), and came up with the idea that the brothers also exist alongside Khalan and Aya from our previous Stardew AU ;o;

so I had to draw a small interaction between little Antony and Aya as a result! we have a running joke that Antony loves worms (i.e., the little artifact spots in the ground) and the kid just wants everyone else to appreciate them too, but Aya is Not Having It. haha!

hurting myself thinking about Act II of HIWYA again. something about Antony losing his brother and then doing everything he can in his power to prevent Khalan from meeting a similar fate just really, really gets me, ok;; despite all odds being against him, he still tries to do good and help those around him - even if there's a chance that things might not turn out okay in the end.

and, like. idk. I just really love that a lot.
