𓏵Crush : How would they crush on someone?

~ to be able to capture the attention of the keeper of time themselves is no small feat, though this could be from many different aspects like you being an anomaly in time or being a particularly hardworking and or interesting employee of the TBD. either way you've caught her interest, needless to say you had to be very unpredictable.

"oh! How interesting, i couldn't predict that move, consider my interest piqued~"

~ when crushing the director isn't obvious nor discreet, if there's a line for attraction and merely being nice she would be toying with it. one minute they could be all up in your personal space, the next she could disappear with that one eeire smile on their face that reveals nothing.

"me? my dear employee fret not! i'm just having fun, and you happen to be very entertaining to watch!"

~ while she is pretty subtle with hints. they will undoubtedly be hints when she do give them. like randomly appearing next to you and gifting you one of a kind gifts that never existed in your timeline in the first place or always sparing you at least a clock tick or two of time, which is absurdly rare considering her reputation of spending their time oh so effeciently.

"why of course! i have to spare time for my favorite little helper around here! nothing odd now is it?"

~ when the crushing escalates further, i can also see them looking into other timelines to see where you'll end up. not your timeline though, for one she wants to experience it first hand with you. so if you see them shocked or caught off guard around you, that very well may be their genuine, unfiltered reaction which is still unsurprisingly uncharacteristic to see.

"unexpected, i welcome it!"

~ while she's still calculative and mysterious given their the director for a reason even if stroken down by the weight of love, they are no less whimsical than their normal self. sometimes she'll still ask silly things about you that no one would typically hear her ask like asking you about your day or the amount of apples you think you've eaten in the past year even though they can learn it all across timelines in a few clock ticks, it's just more fun to see your confusion seeping in. plus she'll get more reasons to hang around your personal space and stare for longer, it's just a win-win situation for them.

"oh my, that look of confusion on your face is just far too entertaining~! do bare with me for staring."

𓏵Confession: How, where, when would they confess?

~ given that she's pretty much always certain about their choices, there's not much room for doubt of what she means when they do confess about their feelings.

"i like your unpredictability, which means i like you, tag along now!"

~ of course she's already memorised your preferences to a t long before the moment, obviously they'll keep those in mind when they prepare the scene

"how'd i know your preferences you ask? i have my ways of course my dear!"

~ although tweaking timelines and messing with a few things isn't what the TBD enjoys seeing, she does it anyways since surely a few things moving around for the perfect scene just for you wouldn't affect the core timeline too much would it?

"me altering the timelines? how could i?~"

~ they would randomly teleport in your workspace as she always does, abruptly extending their hand at you with a knowing smile, inviting you to go on a "mysterious adventure" with them.

"say what? Go on a little detour with me and we both get to clock out early? "

~ they would definitely be grand about it with no doubt, afterall she's the keeper of time herself in the dough. it would be injust for her to not atleast be a little over the top no? they wouldn't say it outright but if you do praise their efforts she would indefinitely feel atleast a bit giddy inside.

"pfft-- dramatic? nonsense!~ what kind of detour would this be if i didn't add a single drop of flair to it hm?"

~ probably looked through the timelines where you did end up together and looked at what the other hers did to gain your affection, thus she has a rough idea of the things to say in order to maximize their chances.

~ if you eventually do accept they will give a tiny little smile with a little comment of how she already knows your answer even if she never really looked at this version of you's future.

"oh splendid! though of course i already knew you would agree hehe~"

𓏵Dating: how would they behave in a relationship?

~ things don't really change much right after the relationship started, she'll still randomly appear beside you albeit they'll now tackle you with hugs or surprise kisses.

~ definitely very openly affectionate now that you're official. they would always be with you whenever she could, be it having her face in your neck or hair. they love ruffling and messing up your hair randomly too, affectionately of course.

"my dearest~!! has anyone ever told you how sweet your hair smells? hehe, i know im the first."

~ a few weeks into your relationship you'll find that not only is she the director of the TBD but apparently their also the director of pet names. said pet names would be ranging from common ones like "darling" or "my love" to ones that are absolutely absurd like "my lovely, dearest clockwork cog that smells like the sweetest cotton candy." the more you protest against her strange nicknames, the weirder they become. there's no way of winning againist her when it comes to affectionate titles.

"absurd? oh no my darling— tis but a fraction of the creativity yours truly holds~"

~ they would definitely have a little charm they made for you so you'd have a piece of accessory to carry around that'll remind you of her even when she's not near. though usually they'd appear shortly after you begin to miss them and spoil you with words of affection, or acts of it if that's what you prefer.

~ as a lover they're mostly whimsical and teasing, she loves to poke fun at you just to see your reactions. she might already know said reactions even if she doesn't read your future directly as afterall she has studied the countless other versions of you, though surprise them with a reaction they didn't expect and they'd be delighted.

"ah~ there's the unpredictability i love, always a variable i cant quite predict hm?"

~ even if the reaction she draws from you is what she expected, they'd still be delighted the same, afterall she fell in love with this version of you rather than the dozens of others they have seen for a reason.

"dear one, how come you always manage to capture my attention regardless? such a wonder indeed~"

~ despite all her teasing, they do genuinely adore you, expect them to randomly appear when you're feeling down with your favorite cup of tea ready and tons of hugs to give, and she'd certainly clock you out for you during it. afterall, she's the director, whose going to stop them from clocking their favourite employee out of work when said employee is upset?

"come now my love, i know the exact treatment you require to feel all the more better~" (they'd say while extending their arms towards you with that causal smile on her lips)

~ for days when the core timeline genuinely needs her presence to restore, and if that day is a special one like your birthday or valentine's, she'd place a pile if not a mountain of gifts be it flowers or sweets at your door with a note expressing care likely carrying a little doodle in the corner, signed of course. no matter how much they adore you, duties do need to come first when it comes to situations like this but she'd never forget to show just a fraction of her care though a few gifts.

"apologies, seems like it's something i cannot clock out early on! though I'll be beside you the clock tick after the mission's finished hm?"

Note: ASJKAJSKA ANON THIS IS SO CUTE!! In this one I'm making the Reader into another royalty of an Ice Cream Kingdom if you don't mind; I hope this is okay!! And merry Christmas to you and everyone else too!! :DD Also this is a bit lengthy I'm sorry-

You're the sole leader of the Ice Cream Cookie Kingdom.

While you're not nearly as powerful or as influential as the other (seeing that you lack Soul Jam compared to the big five), your Kingdom is still one of the few that have earned the respect of the big five due to your people's capability in surviving through harsh winter every year.

Due to your high rank in Cookie nobility, you often got invited to party and noble diplomacy meetings with other Cookies.

You can say that you might've become head over heels by Pure Vanilla during one of those meetings.

His selflessness and willingness to aid others; especially your Kingdom (albeit he finds it difficult to live in a cold environment).

He's always willing to help and talk to you at any given time. He would ask you about your Ice Cream kingdom back up North and you'd tell tales of the people, all while watching his beautiful two-colored eyes shine in excitement.

It's easy to say you're swooned by his willingness to help your Kingdom and his fondness to your (and he said,) adventurous Kingdom.

But seeing Pure Vanilla's nature in romance, which he lacks of, you know you need to make the first move.

So you start to flirt with him. Subtly, as to not break the friendship you two had all the while looking for signs whether he reciprocate your feelings or not.

Now you might be able to figure how this plan horribly failed to help you make him notice your crush.

You flirted with him, invited him to private dinner, to a walk together, a date, while he always accepts it with a smile and a small blush; it always seems.. Platonic, in his eyes. Hell, perhaps he sees it as diplomatic relations instead of a personal one.

Hollyberry and Golden Cheese laughs at your attempts. They pity you, yes, first because of how dense their friends are and how bold you become in your flirting.

They want to help you, they do, but God is it not funny seeing the all mighty and respected Pure Vanilla being dense to an obvious love interest.

Dark Cacao would actually be willing to help you if he knows how.

He try to also subtly tell Pure Vanilla about your 'pure and personal intent' to him, but of course, while it makes Pure Vanilla flustered, he still thinks of it as you being a respectful leader from your Kingdom.

He gives up after.

Still supportive of you though!

Now your last and final hope is White Lily.

If it's not the other three to knock some senses into Pure Vanilla; White Lily is your answer.

You invited her to a private tea party and just bawls your heart out about how frustrated you are in your attempt to woo the Vanilla Kingdom's king, her best friend.

She.. She honestly pities you.

You're a great and soft soul in her eyes and she's a bit upset that Pure Vanilla is that dense in realizing your attempts.

(Low-key she would blame his fame and overwhelming responsibility as King for his lack of awareness of others' personal interest in him, but she can talk about it with him another day.)

So after she bids farewell to you, she immediately makes a beeline to the Vanilla Kingdom to give her best friend some pep-talk in terms of romance.

You don't know what she did but when a letter with Pure Vanilla sigil on it arrives in your mail, you opened it with absolute eagerness.

Your patience rewarded you; Pure Vanilla had written a letter to you stating that he would like to invite you to for a tea and a walk over his Lily Garden.

Alone.

You don't know whether it's just another platonic meeting or not between you and the King, but there's only one way to find out, right?

As a loyal servant of the great dark enchantress cookie, you are always in charge of the preparations and plans for the upcoming chaos and mayhem, though you always stay in the dark, being admired and respected by liquorice, pomegranate, and dark choco cookie. If you stay low enough, maybe it will turn out to be alright and dark enchantress cookies plans will be a success. That's what you hope would happen, one of the liquorice servants had set off the trap too early, meaning that your plans are busted, liquorice is trying his best to hold upwind archer and fire spirit, while you support him in the dark, trying to think of a plan, too bad that you injured yourself too badly in battle, leaving you to run away from the battlefield to rest. Unfortunately, you were almost struck down by wind archer cookie, now here you are running for your dear life, dodging and tumbling down a slope, hoping you would make it out alive.

Crawling back up from a tiny hole you fall into, you barely dodge the final arrow as your vision started to blacken, you could see a pair of cookie legs in front of you, breathing shallowly you tried to look up to the cookie before passing out from the lose of strawberry jam. "Is y/n alive?" Wind archer would say, looking down at you at the top of the tree "hope it didn't hurt them much, I didn't remember hurting them that badly." The mysterious cookie would sigh, before picking your unconscious body in their arms "be careful, now let's get them to bandage up for the meanwhile..." You recognize that voice, an old friend who you betrayed after you decided to join dark enchantress cookie by pure choice, before you could process what's happening you let a tiny call.

"...Millennial tree cookie?....."

An old friend you don't want to meet, an old friend who you don't want to be with at the start, why did he come back to you? Why, why, why. You should've remembered how this happens, why he was so... Obsessed with you being his soul.

"Y/n? Why are you doing here?" You would look at your friend, sea fairy, she is always so nice and gentle with you ever since you became a deity of the nearby cookie town "ah, sea fairy. Nothing, I was... Just looking at the carnations..." You would say back, looking at her, she knew you wanted to join the dark side but too afraid to admit it, she won't let that corruption take you in for themselves, "y/n I know you wanted to join the dark cookies, but they aren't good for you... They'll just use you until you're ruined and unfixable" how does she know that? did she get bitten by millennial trees bluffs? Did he trick her? You have to hold your anger, for now, the last time you got a tantrum, you nearly wiped a whole forest section, though it didn't damage it that bad.

"It's alright... I won't join their side any time.." Lies, all lies from your mouth, you want to make sure they don't know your plan, you just want to get your normal life back, you shouldn't have joined him, you shouldn't, you shouldn't, you shouldn't have. You never have been.

She nodded at your words before returning to the sea, you would sigh, before withering the flower, a new power after becoming the deity, almost similar to wind archers ability, but instead of the wind, it's planted, you have the power to restore life and revert life to death by the plants, able to turn them to carnivorous or walking hostile ones, or just normal plants and vegetation. You're glad the millennial tree gave you this power, but you have to stay low for your plan to work, you don't want them to know do you?.

you never felt more relief that you left your duty as a deity. it felt more amazing the more you look at it, you wished it stayed like this, but life and mind had to be cut short for you.
