COOKIE RUN SECRET SANTA 2020 INFO!!!! PLEASE SPREAD!!
what a great time we had last year!! And since our Secret Santa last time went so well, I thought we’d host another one this year! Hopefully even bigger and better! The rules will be a little different this time, so read below!!
PREMISE:
Starting November 20th, this blog will be taking applications to participate in the 2020 Cookie Run Secret Santa! Starting December 1st, applications will be closed and you will be assigned a partner who you will make a lovely cookie run themed present for based on their request! and on December 25th-December 30th, presents will be posted, either by submitting to this blog, or by posting to your own blog and tagging the recipient!
HOW DO I APPLY?
starting November 20th, you can apply to this blog by filling out this template and sending it to this blog through a private message:
Tumblr username: What you would like to make: (Digital/Traditional art, Fanfics, sprite edits, etc.) Cookies/ships/subjects you would prefer not to draw/write: (that are NOT already disallowed by the rules below) Are you okay with drawing OCs or self-inserts?: What you would like your gift to be and the artform you would prefer it in: Anything else you would like me or your Secret Santa to know:
You must also include an example of your work, either by sending a photo, or a link where I can find them.
If you request an OC or Self Insert, you must send me a reference along with your application.
RULES:
-You must apply between November 20th and December 1st and you must ‘deliver’ your gift between December 25th and December 30th. If you believe you will be late delivering your gift, please let me know.
-Please keep your request family friendly, nothing 18+. if you are unsure if your request meets this requirement, please ask/message me.
-No incestuous ships are allowed. any cookies who have family members listed on their relationship chart are disallowed from drawn/written romantically with them. This includes Princess and Tiger lily cookie, since even though they are not listed as family, they are heavily implied to be related.
-No Child x Adult ships are allowed. This list includes every child cookie! however, there are some cookies whos ages are a bit of a controversial subject within the community, thus we will not be allowing ANY romantic/shipping art involving Rollcake cookie or Sorbet Shark Cookie. We apologize for any disappointment. Every other cookie besides the ones on that child list and the ones previously mentioned will be counted as adults.
- all other ships are fair game, so if you are uncomfortable drawing any other ship due to headcannon, personal taste, anything, please state so in your application.
-Please put a lot of effort into your gift!!! It’s always heartbreaking when someone puts a lot of love and effort into their present, only to find out their own Secret Santa did not do the same. Please do not draw stick figures, flat sketches with very little detail or something very clearly hastily scribbled on MS paint. Put a lot of time and effort into your piece until it is something you genuinely believe your partner will enjoy.
OTHER THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:
-I will have to cancel the secret santa if not enough people sign up!! which is why it is VERY important to spread this!!!
-The person you will be making a present for and the person making your present will not be the same person.
-please tell me if you would like your gift to be delivered privately
-if you are confused about ANYTHING please do not be afraid to send me an ask or a message!!!
