there’s a sort of survivors guilt theme that saparata’s state smp characters has going on. (I am like 99% I haven’t talked about this before??)

in 2.0 he killed himself over the guilt he had surrounding endangering his citizens, and we see a repeat of this in 2.5 (if you squint)

In 2.5, although not directly his fault he may have viewed him failing to convince people he was innocent as him failing to protect them again. He was nominated as a mediator, someone meant to keep the peace and he couldn’t even do that. You could also argue, whilst it was likely inevitable, he was a major factor in the war being as big as it was. More people died in the end because he failed.

This can also link to Decayed and Decrepit but if you squint a little more there could be some parallels between 2.5 Fluixon and DaD Saps, in that Saparata has experimented on 86 people in his search for a cure that would save many more, and Fluixon’s dilemma of betrayed one person to save a thosujad (THAT WASNT EVEN THE REAL SITUATION MIND YOU HE MADE THAT UP but that’s off topic)

I think the last paragraph was also like entirely off the main topic but idk I’m having thoughts

Tbh i feel like all characters Saps has roleplayed have some guilt and hero complex on them in a way i dunno how to put. I just feel like his characters have some strong morals everytime but it's so interesting to see how they're built in different situations.

Easter feast time

Starting prep for Easter dinner. It feels like it’s been ages since I cooked anything that involved much effort. This evening’s menu: - Smoked ham in a smoky spiced glaze - Duck roasted with herbs - Funeral potatoes (cheesy potato casserole) - Carrots in orange brown butter sauce - Caramelized brussel sprouts and bacon - Marinated mushrooms - Broccoli and bacon salad (don’t need a whole pound for the brussels 😉) - Brioche buns And then we have duelling cakes for dessert! Pineapple upside down and black forest 😊

I hope many of you have an Easter feast to look forward to. It’s important to balance a good chocolate binge with some nutritious food 😉

Dirty Drabble

“It’s really big.”

“Size doesn’t matter, Draco, and you know it.”.

“It absolutely matters!” Draco threw his hands up in the air, convinced that he was once again correct.  “I thought you’d be happy it was so large!  Just look at it, Harry,” he said as he pulled it out.

Harry pinched the bridge of his nose, trying to remind himself that this was all new to Draco.

“Not when you’re serving twice baked potatoes, my love.  I can’t serve four guests with three spuds,” Harry grumbled as he began to peel, his sights now set on making mash instead.

年末の大掃除がやっと終わっておせち料理の調理中です! 皆さん, 今年はまたお世話になりました. 来年は幸せが実る年でありますように! 良いお年をお迎えください! Finally finished the traditional end of year cleaning and now cooking what osechi we can with limited ingredient availability! It's been a year of slow-learning, constant questioning, doubt, encouragement and support. Here's to a new year where steps will be taken towards dreams despite all fears. Hope to be brave next year.
