When your Director compliments your RA skills
so today a Jehovah's witness came to the door. past couple of days I have just been trying to welcome what comes to me in life because if everything happens for a reason, why do I keep saying no to these extra opportunities? anyhow I digress. I seriously just talked to this guy, brian or bryan, for about an hour. now everyone I ever met knows that I am not religious in any organized way and I am not about to say I was just saved or anything like that, but that is the most sense I have heard from a religious person. they believe in the bible BUT actually believe something that I always have. instead of taking it literally. they believe that the seven days weren't literal days. he told me that later in the bible they say we are still currently living in God's seventh day. so each day listed could be thousands or millions of years long. he cited science and how we can see stars from billions of light years away and read from where god doesn't try to deceive us so why would he give us the knowledge to discover how far away they are but in reality make it false to how long they have existed. they have actually looked at recently discovered codex's and compiled the data to make a more accurate book. all this time I have thought every religion just takes the word as fact when that isn't the case. I just feel really amazed right now that there are actual religious people out there that let their own thought process play a role. they still think being gay is wrong so they aren't perfect but he also said it isn't our place to judge that. maybe they will find more scriptures stating otherwise or something and update their "version" again but it is pretty damn cool overall. I like intelligent conversations with strangers, polite debates. the JW's just earned a few dozen cool points in my book. also it doesn't really matter that no one reads this, I just like writing in a journal when I have no one to talk to and maybe someone will read this and be like whoa, that guy is pretty awesome lmfao
Ya know, as much as I love being high, not smoking for a while and having no tolerance is irritating, not to mention it takes away cool points

Back at the Bookstore and already had some customer enquiry gems.
Someone asked me for a youtube video again. Guys. Just because a video contains writing, doesn’t mean it exists in book form. And trust me, I looked EVERYWHERE. It simply isn’t.
A lady asked me what ‘WTF’ stands for. That was awkward. I resorted to spelling out the F U C K. It was emblazoned on a pencil set she was buying for a teenage girl. Apparently the lady was going to be getting, and I quote, ‘cool points.’
