I can see myself astral projecting here
One of my favorite things is to take a hot shower late in the evening and shave my legs and lady bits so everything is smooth and soft and then slip completely naked in between fresh, cool sheets and my weighted blanket. I’m smooth and refreshed and I smell like my citrus body wash. It’s the end of the day and I have no pressing responsibilities. Ah, yes. That’s some good shit.
Let me tell you what I want to do right now. I want to check into a hotel (doesn’t have to be anything fancy, just clean and with a calming color palette and a little kitchenette), put the “do not disturb” sign on the door, turn off the lights, and blast the AC to make it really cool in there so I can wear comfy sweaters and make a nest out of blankets and pillows and make myself some hot chocolate or apple cider, and browse Tumblr and Pinterest or I could spread out my papers all over the bed and write for hours. I could order takeout if I wanted (I live out in the country an absolutely nobody delivers out here). There would be condensation forming on the windows, which somehow makes it feel even more cozy. I would bring my favorite snacks and a suitcase full of books that I would read with my book light because I would still leave the lights off. Just for a while I would have no obligations, no responsibilities, nobody could bother me, and I could have some peace.
