ARTFIGHT days 3 - 4 I haven't done much at all, i am not proud of that. It's not been a full day yet but uhhhhhhhhhh yeh i can not focus on anything other then youtube shorts and i do not even enjoy it i just watch some shite.

I’ve been so wrapped up in (jealousy? shame?) watching other peoples’ ministries in the church.

There’s a mental and emotional war between “doing what I think I should” (aka: “what other people are doing in their ministry” “what christians usually do in their ministries” “what ministry and using gifts looks like for others” aka “mom told me I had to do all of this stuff to be a healthy person”) and “doing what has been given to me to do”

I’ve been operating out of fear as I’m staring down what others are doing around me and completely oblivious to the fact that I just launched myself into blog writing for the church to outreach for missions, that I jumped onto volunteer editing for spiritual curriculum, that my second job manager has basically given me free reign over written communications without needing to check over my work.

...like of course I’m signing up for that stuff, it’s not even work it’s just an excuse to get more of what I love to do... that is exactly what I have heard other people say when they get plugged in, in the right areas.

Getting plugged in, in those areas, isn’t causing even the slightest bit of fear. It’s incredible.
