MY ANSWERS

1. What movies/shows/books etc. have you been introduced to or interested in because of tumblr?

Hannibal. I started watching it because it suddenly smeared itself all over my dash. It took me a while, though, because at first I thought it was some sort of modern-day adaptation of the life of the real, historical Hannibal? I didn't see how that could work.

2. What is your most unrealistic ambition for your future?

Buying back the house I spent the most years of my life in. It's just home in this indescribable, irreplaceable way, and I have an idea that someday when I'm an adult I'll live in it again, but I don't know how.

3. If you were given the opportunity to go to Mars but never return would you go?

No. I think I have things to do here. (Also, the house.)

4. What is your favorite show that doesn’t air anymore?

STARGATE SG-1! Stargate is my precious foundation show, like, one of the first things I ever really loved, and I still love it. It had a good run, though. It couldn't really have gone on any longer than it did.

5. What books have you read recently?

Started reading A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court, but that got interrupted by the books I was reading for English class: True Grit, When the Emperor Was Divine, and Half Broke Horses (the last of which I liked best).

6. What is the last movie you saw and did you like it?

Il Postino (The Postman) and I liked it quite a lot. It's in Italian with English subtitles, which instantly made me wary of it since I've never watched a movie in a foreign language, but it was beautiful and I want to watch it again.

7. (stealing this question) If you woke up tomorrow in a fictional universe, which one do you think you’d end up being a BAMF in?

Oh, no. Hm. This is tough. Honestly, I think I would live longest in the Supernatural 'verse, because that's all rules and strategies and I can remember those and keep my head. Silver, iron, salt. This works against that but not the other thing. It's like Pokemon.

8. (I’m really curious) Which universe would you end up dead in within the hour and how would you die?

Doctor Who. The Angels would get me. I'm constantly blinking because a) I have a headache and the light is making it worse or b) my eyes are so dry my contacts will fall out if I don't blink often. So if confronted by a Weeping Angel I would be dead within 20 seconds. XD

9. If you could control time and travel through it would you go explore the future & the past or would you use it to make life easier by getting extra sleep or cheating on tests?

Can I say both? Both. I wouldn't cheat on tests, but I would get extra sleep (SO MUCH SLEEP MUAHAHAHA) and I would definitely poke around, mostly in the past. I would meet people in non-timestream-harmful ways. I would meet my grandfathers. That'd be cool.

10. Who would you take on an adventure/journey and why?

I would take my best friend, Jen, because... well, I take her everywhere I can anyway. She's my best friend. She's practical and tough and keeps me grounded. And I guess if other friends wanted to come, they could. (You could come, Sonia, Kera. I'd like to have you on an adventure. :3)

11. What are 5 most important things to you besides your family, friends or yourself?

1) My pets (if they don't already count as family). Especially my cat, Simon, and my dog, Torque. 2) God. Not "religion," mind you-- not like, rules and practices and stuff, but my belief in God and His grace. 3) My notebooks. I have a stack of them on my nightstand, and they keep all my art and writing from the last five years. 4) The external drive next to the big computer. It has all my digital art from the last... gosh, 8 years? And a whole lot of writing. 5) A stuffed rabbit named Fluffy. *puffs up proudly*
