lapis lazuli, malachite, reddish brass?
does your muse prefer the idea of exploring the depths of the oceans, or the boundless expanses of space more?
he prefers the notion of space travel, if only because he already spent so much of his life in or around ocean waters, fjords, rivers, lakes, etcetera that he feels over-familiarized with it. once you’ve sunken to the bottom of the sea and met a humungous cave-dwelling fire dragon who then proceeded the tell you the future, call you incompetent, and send you away more confused than you were when you came, the deep blue sort of … loses its charm.
has your muse ever done anything that they winded up feeling incredibly guilty for in the end?
the only things grendel truly regrets are the people he’s hurt who didn’t deserve it & the people he just couldn’t save. if he could go back and get himself killed before he ever caused mankind any further grievances than the ones they already caused for themselves … he would.
how likely is your muse to step up and take the role of a leader? are they willing to take the challenge, or are they more apt to being a follower?
gren would … literally rather die than be a fucking follower. he isn’t keen on letting people speak or make decisions for him; he’s especially not keen on operating under any system of higher authority. grendel has struggled with his own psychological and bodily autonomy for so many centuries, by now, that he’s absolutely sick of sitting by and letting life happen around him – he’s a leader, through and through; a damn good one, at that. you can count on him to step up in times of revolution, to speak out against forces that harm his kind, and to protect what he believes in – sometimes, with his life.
