This is coping. I'm chugging the copium right now, and spoilers for Destroying a World that Doesn't Exist

AU where when the King transfered into Derrick's body, it didn't actually wipe Derrick. The transfer, by his own words, needs a clean mind to be done properly. He freaked out hard when Derrick invoked it, the spell to transfer his mind, and if it was just death he wouldn't of freaked out as bad. After all, if he he everything, then he cannot die, for that would cause everything in existence to die as well.

What if the fate that occurred with an improper transfer was more cruel?

What if it meant that Derrick took his place? Became an all-mighty God, trapped in the digital plane, and the King was trapped in what remains of his shattered mind? Making the king no longer all powerful, but making the ever-clever Derrick all-powerful?

..... and imagine, if you will, Avery encountering the new Derrick. Maybe indirectly. A new world pops up in his server list, a public listing. A mini game world, shockingly perfectly made to Avery's wishes? A game that has a single, new item.
