If you wanna become alterhuman, you can just become one. You can choose to become otherlinker, otherhearted or a system. Chosen identities and created systems are as valid as involuntary ones.

It's okay if your fact-identity is a choice.
Being/having a factlink, fact-otherlink, or fact-copinglink is NOT identity theft.
It does NOT make you a bad person, to simply exist and shape your identity in a way you want to.
It does NOT make you "a bad example of alterhumanity", or "a shame to the factive/factkin/plural/etc. community".
You're NOT "misleading" anyone by being a factlink. You're not "giving outsiders the wrong impression", or "glorifying delusions".
You should NOT have to be disrespected, or told that you should have a fiction-link or identify as a factive instead. You can be who you want to be in the peace of your own mind and in the safe communities you foster/find. You can cope however you see fit, and others shouldn't judge what works and doesn't work for you.
You do NOT have to beat yourself up for wanting to be this way. And you are allowed to like, or even love, it!

It's okay if you can't or don't want to do quadrobics. Quadrobics aren't necessary to be an alterhuman. Your altertype is still your altertype, and your identity is your identity, no matter if you do quadrobics or not.
It's okay to want to become an alterhuman. It's okay to choose to create/develop an alterhuman identity. Creating/developing an identity can be an amazing experience, and you can do it, if you want to.
It's okay if you can't do animalistic sounds. Not being able to make sounds, that your altertype does, doesn't deny your identity.
Otherlinks are as valid and real as any other alterhuman identity. It's okay to choose to identify as something. Consciously choosing an identity doesn't make it any less real or valid.
It's okay to have different hobbies than your source. You don't have to like or do all the things that your source did. Not being 100% like your source doesn't make your identity any less real.
