Name Meaning(s): Copper is a brown colored element. Ross can mean “red”. Copper is based off a Red Deer.
Age: Copper is about 9 years old.
Looks: Copper has slightly long brown hair, green eyes, brown deer ears, brown deer tail, and small stubs of antlers as well as light skin. He is about average height for his age but ends up growing to 6’8”, the tallest of all the rwbabies.
Family: Copper is the middle child and son of Weiss and Neptune. His brother, Coal, is 3 years older, while his sister, Crystal, is 3 years younger. He unknowingly has an identical twin brother who is 6 mins younger than him. His father, a deer faunus, was named Copper Fiore and his mother, a coyote faunus, was named Pepper Ross. He also has an Aunt named Iris Ross.
Small Bio: Shortly after Copper was born, his village was attacked by bandits. His young Aunt took him away and they managed to get away. Knowing she could not take care of her young nephew and with no one else left to turn, she left him at an orphanage but not before naming him both after his father and mother. While there, a young boy named Coal took special interest in Copper. The two became like brothers and when Neptune and Weiss came to adopt, they could not have the boys be separated and adopted them at 4 and 1 years old.
Copper had some trouble one year in school which resulted in him getting held back a year (unknown when yet). This does not stop him from getting back on his feet and catching up and going to Beacon with his friends. As a young teen, he finds out about his brother and when Zinc comes into his life he does whatever he can to make his twin feel welcome and they become close.
Semblance: Strength. Copper can lift things twice his weight. As he gets older he can lift more as well push back/hold back more.
Personality: Copper is a very mellow and laid-back child. He prefers not to fight and tries to sort things out peacefully. Even when he has to ‘fight’, he tries doing it with his words rather than his fist. He is very playful and likes to explore (he sometimes comes home all muddy). Copper also is known for bring stray animals home and tending to them till they get better.
While Copper is very sweet he is still a boy. Being friends with Heather and Clover means he will get in trouble with them from time to time. He can be mischievous and a little lazy at times. Copper also can be a little stubborn and sometimes he will not listen to others.
Romo/Sexuality and Gender: Gay and cis male. He later on dates Auburn Scarlatina. Their ship name is Jackalope.
Other facts:
-Is a vegetarian.
-Love animals and takes injured one in to heal if he can.
-When it comes to the SDC, when he is older he works a lot with making sure the relationship between humans and faunus is fair and just.
-Has by mistake broken things because of his semblance.
-Hit his growth spurt pretty fast and for a long time kept hitting the door frames until the family raises them for him.
