Had to take time off from Nature Bone Studio to be a home care nurse instead for the past week. My mother usually devotes herself to caring for my grandmother who has dementia but she just had her hip replacement surgery so I been staying at her house to care for both of them for the past 8 days. Mom is up and walking again so I got to spend the night in my own bed with my partner and our kitties last night which felt so good. I’ll still be busy helping them for the next couple weeks while Mom recovers but I’m looking forward to starting fresh projects and listing new creations in the new year! This copper snake on a frosted borosilicate glass hoop is one of the new designs I was working on before mom’s surgery. I was playing around with patterns in the patina on the copper of the snake.
