Yuzu is withdrawn from Rostelecom Cup 2021!

This is a statement regarding his injury - translation by Iron_Klaus

There is also a statement by JSF that Yuzu will still be in the selection process for Beijing if he wishes to compete at the Olympics even if he can't participate at JNats. One of the selection criterias is a place in the top 3 at last World Championship. Yuzu was 3rd so he will be considered (but it's not a guarantee.)

If Kamila would have been scored like a male skater at CoR (means with the PCS factoring of the men) she would have won the CoR men SP with 96 points without a quad. Really shows you how ridiculous the score was.

Men scoring is nuts, but compared to ladies/women scoring it is quite tame and "fair" 🤪

Stunning skate from Hawayek/Baker, with the first level 4 step sequence in the FD that we’ve seen! I’m so so proud of them, and the improvements Kaitlyn made this quad under I.AM are just breathtaking. 

ETA: I have to keep gushing because their edge quality in the one foot and the diagonal step sequences are some of the best we’ve seen all season imo and the ice coverage was just amazing. 

ETA2: 113.90 for a season debut and after a lot of lost time is pretty great.

Rant ahead...

Tbh cannot say anything about Kamila's free skate...I didn't watch it...(I did watch the women's free skate replay much much later and watched everyone except Kami 😅)

I just cannot enjoy her because of how overscored she is. It's not her fault, but I have no fun to see it. I knew she would win anyway so what's the point of watching? 🤷‍♀️

She is good - there is no doubt - but I just feel like we reached a new level of clownery with the scoring (she could win without those astronomical scores) and I am at the point where in the future especially when more of my fav ladies retire I will only watch replays and jump over everyone I don't enjoy, the results are rigged anyway...

I mean there were many skaters before Kami who were overscored and there will be many after her, but at least in the past it was still an amount of gap between the skaters that was tolerable and chances for others were still there even if they were slim - now there is one chosen star and no one else...it's unfair and also extremely boring...

I feel like her scores - GOEs and PCS - mock everyone else out there...
