So I was coming up with a character for the 35th anniversary Addy I thought I might get. She was going to be Addy’s lookalike cousin — her dad’s brothers daughter. I was going to write a little story about Poppa reconnecting with his brother through a freedman’s fund, how they had been separated back when they were teenagers and hadn’t seen each other since. He was going to be a widow and wanted to move himself and his daughter to Philadelphia because he can’t find steady work where he is. He and his daughter stay with Addy’s family and the girls get to be fast friends. Addy helps her with schoolwork and she tells Addy tons of funny stories that she makes up mostly to amuse herself (bonus points if they amuse anyone else).
I might get a Beforever Addy and do this with her. It might be fun. But out of spite, I don’t want to order any doll direct from AG right now lol.
