This is the castle of Corbera, located on a hill right above the town of Corbera (València, Valencian Country). It was built during the Islamic period of the Middle Ages, most likely on the remains of a Roman fortification. The castle was kept in use after the Christian conquest of the area, when it was partially remodelled, until it was the place of an important battle during the Uprising of the Brotherhoods (Guerra de Germanies) in the year 1521 which destroyed it. It has been abandoned since then.
