Genevieve spent hours getting ready. Really, if she hadn't had such a huge mess of hair, it would have taken her ten minutes - fifteen at most. But her hair was so huge and so curly that she had to wash it, blow dry it straight, and then curl it again. It sounded stupid, but to get the perfect hair everyone knew and loved, that was what she had to do. Swiping red lipstick across her lips and black eyeliner around her eyes, Genevieve checked herself out in the mirror. She had to admit, she looked hot. In a tight, black dress and strappy gold heels, Genevieve was 'quite the number' as the Americans would say. Grabbing a gold purse to match her shoes, Gene unplugged her phone from her computer and walked to the front door, waiting for Corbett to show up.

Leaning against one of the counters in her kitchen, Genevieve poured herself a glass of water and waited. She realized she had no idea where he was taking her. Out to dinner, obviously. But where. She looked at the clock, it was almost 8 o'clock. Hopefully he would be here soon.
