Core Shift - The New Lands (Self-released)
Core Shift is one of the projects of Heerlen based (sound) artist Mike Kramer. With this new project he creates ambient techno which contains various elements from the Basic Channel sound, while dragging it more in the soundscape direction.
On this debut release we get three tracks (or four if you buy the CD-R version) of slow evolving synth pads and soft rhythms. Something that lies in the vain of Wolfgang Voigt (Gas) his work and the ambient techno connected to Kompakt.
