I think this is probably the most modular and user friendly case I have ever seen.

It doesn't have a top or a bottom or sides. Well it does but you can choose where they are. The front is the front and the rear is the rear but again they can be positioned how you want also.

The front is the front and the rear is the rear but again they can be positioned how you want also. Vertical GPU placement, no problem. Vertical Motherboard placement again no problem!

Thermaltake Core V21: un boîtier Micro-ATX avec beaucoup d’espace

Thermaltake continue sans relâche de présenter de nouveaux produits, aujourd’hui il est question du boîtier polyvalent Thermaltake Core V21.

Ce tout nouveau modèle dispose d’un châssis cubique au format microATX avec un design compact, conçu pour être personnalisable et accueillir sans aucun problème des configurations hautement performante. Extérieurement, le Core V21 est presque identique au minuscule Core V1, mais différent dans les dimensions qui sont de 336x320x424mm.

  Conçu pour permettre l’installation de cartes mères à la fois horizontalement et verticalement, les nouveaux boîtiers sont construits de telle manière à être superposés à d’autres identiques, de manière à devenir, si nécessaire, une véritable tour complète.

Ce faisant, non seulement nous pouvons avoir deux ordinateurs différents dans un même ensemble, mais aussi nous permettre de créer des solutions de refroidissement liquide avancé. En la matière, il s’agirait de consacrer un « module » uniquement et exclusivement aux radiateurs, réservoirs et pompes nécessaires au bon fonctionnement du système de watercooling.

Le Core V21 est vendu avec un ventilateur de 200 mm placé à l’avant, mais il est possible d’en installer beaucoup plus.

Plus précisément, nous pouvons installer les ventilateurs suivants:

1 x 120 / 140mm à l’arrière; 4 x 120 ou 2 x 140 mm dans la partie haute; 2 x 120 mm sur le fond; 2 x 120 / 140mm en utilisant des supports amovibles.

Tout cela se traduit, bien entendu, par une grande prédisposition à accueillir des radiateurs:

1 x 120/140 / 240mm à l’avant; 1 x 120mm à l’arrière; 2 x 120/240 mm ou 1 x 140 / 280mm sur le dessus; 1 x 120/140/240 / 280 mm sur le fond.

Avec cette polyvalence accrue, le Core V21 va droit dans la catégorie des boîtiers certifiés Thermaltake LCS. Le Core V21 offre la possibilité d’accueillir en plus de cartes graphiques jusqu’à 350mm de longueur, un dissipateur CPU de 185 mm de hauteur et une source d’alimentation allant jusqu’à 200 mm de long. Le boîtier dispose d’un espace suffisant pour trois disques durs 2.5″ et trois 3.5″, mais pas de baie 5,25″.

Thermaltake n’a jamais déçu avec leurs prix, la vente de ce Core V21 sera de l’ordre d’environ 70 $, soit plus ou moins de 55 €.
