Was lookin at your purring art and i had a idea HC that Baby has what's basically considered to be a "smokers purr". His purr, especially in the beginning when he first actually started purring was very course and rough sounding because he never really had reasons to purr before meeting up with the other boys so its basically greatly underused. Because of it he's worried the others will make fun of him since members like Jinu have such a nice soft purr, Romance has a nearly serenading purr, Mystery has a low basely almost growl to his and Abby has a V8 engine practically shoved into his damn chest, all basically considered normal/natural for demons to have, unlike Baby's which sounds like sandpaper rubbing up against a piece of brick. But in reality the boys actually feel terrible for him, because a coarsely sounding purr is usually signs that a demon has had it rough, since Demons only ever purr when their happy and they know since Baby is technically considered "lowly" that he was probably messed with a lot. So as a result, the boys try to make him happy whenever they can as a way to get Baby to purr more often, and as a result his purr has gotten a bit stronger.

One day when he was still new to the pack, Romance just happens to cuddle up next to him and purrs a song, to make him feel welcome and at ease. Baby knows his demon etiquette (<-lol) and begins to purr back. As soon as he does, Romance stops and gives him a concerned look. After that, Baby refuses to purr. He tries to hide it as best he can, but these dumb idiots keep making him feel happy! And like part of the group! And wanted! It becomes hard to keep his sad little purr down!
Jinu monitors Baby's purr because he needs his voice in working order for his plan. If Baby's purr is any indication of the strength of his throat and lungs, then they've got some work to do! Jinu begins stealing more food from the surface. Baby is skinny, so Jinu fattens him up a bit. He also brings back tonics, oils, shampoos and brushes, and grooms Baby's hair to make him feel good and clean. Jinu accidentally finds a sensitive spot on the back of Baby's skull, just above the neck, that completely causes Baby to melt and fully unleashes his weedwacker purr when scratched. (He teaches Abby about this spot.)
The others work hard to help their friend. Baby is oblivious to all of this. He just thinks this demon pack is a little too quirky and friendly and weird…but at the same time, he never wants to go back into the pits either. He doesn't even realize his purr is stronger until one day he's sitting with Abby after a performance on the surface, and he suddenly asks, "Hey? Does my purr sound different to you?"
Abby just grins.
Baby gets irritated. "Really! I'm asking you!"
And Abby just goes right in for that sweet spot behind Baby's head.
"STOP BEING WEIRD ABB-KRRRRkkkkrrrrrrkrrrrrrrrrrkrrrrrr….."
Some burning questions I have prompted by seeing the new art of Mystery's demon wolf mama-
1. In a post-movie happier event where the Saja Boys return to the human realm and Jinu is out of the sword, do the girls become part of the pack? Or is it more honorary pack they get along with?
2. What did mama Mystery think of the pack her son joined?
3. What does mama Mystery think of Zoey? Same girl that said Mystery was "You're just my type!" And then sends him back.
For the time being, they are kind of honorary members of the Saja Boys pack. This is because Rumi is her own pack leader. Even as just a half-demon, the boys see Huntrix as her pack and they cannot interfere with that. If her and Jinu are mated, then they may blend together. Then they become a super pack, or a super pride, if we continue with the lion theme.
Mama Mystery thinks her son found the pack he needed. She knows he's considered odd even among the bulgae, so the fact that he found people who accept him as he is gives her some relief. Even if she thinks their choice of activities is strange for demons.
She approves of Zoey!
Mama comes from a warrior bloodline. She served the old kings who once ruled the Underworld thousands and thousands of years ago, before Gwi-Ma took over. She understands the choices that may have to be made in the heat of battle. She admires that Zoey has a warrior's honor.
She's also really tall.
Another fun fact: the other Saja Boys had no idea he was part bulgae, until she showed up with Mystery one day. They thought maybe he was a dog spirit trapped in a human body. When they saw her, it all clicked.
I just had another demon = cats idea. One day the girls bought some cat nip for Derpy, only to find out cat nip also works on demons and all chaos ensues. Now Mira and Zoey have 6 very high demons to look after.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who has thought of this before! XD Especially if that catnip is mixed with silvervine...ooooo that's the good stuff!
Zoey sprinkled some catnip on the carpet in front of Derpy so he could roll in it. Then she walked away. About 10 minutes later, while she's making snacks in the kitchen, she hears a ruckus and pokes her head out to see what the noise is.
Baby, Mystery, and Rumi are wrestling each other on the floor. Romance is sitting in Mira's lap, braiding her hair (and chewing on it) with a goofy smile. Jinu and Abby are laid on the carpet with Derpy, catnip scattered all over their clothes, and staring blankly into space with dilated pupils. They can now see the secrets of the universe and they forgot how their legs are supposed to work.
Zoey instantly understands what happened. "Oops! Haha, guess i shouldn't have used so much..."
Mira just glares at her.

I had 3 different ideas for answering this ask and I couldn't make up my mind on which one to go with. That's why it took me forever to answer. We're going with...hunting! I'll make separate posts for my other ideas~~~
The boys and Rumi are out on another full moon escapade in the woods. They do their usual tag game and subsequent wrestling matches after being caught by whoever is deemed "it." All is going well, until Mystery makes a comment...
Mystery: She hunts like a human.
Rumi looks at him, confused, and a little insulted? She about to say something, but then the others pipe in.
Baby: Yeah, she is easy to spot in the dark.
Abby: She does make a lot of noise.
Romance: I'm usually the first one caught, but I was able to outlast her this time because I could track her scent!
Rumi: Well, excuse me for being half-human!!!
Jinu: It's okay, Rumi! They don't mean any harm. You just haven't had the chance to hone all your demon skills yet. We'll help you with that!
Rumi now gets to have a lesson in demon hunting by actual demons. They continue to take turns hunting each other, but Rumi now gets paired with someone to teach her a specific skill.
Mystery shows her how to stay in line with the breeze, so her scent remains downwind. He also shows her what objects around her tend to trap lingering scents so she can track her prey.
Romance shows her how to let her purple demon skin and patterns blend in with the trees and shrubs, making her nearly invisible in the dark. He shows her how to remain motionless for minutes on end.
Abby shows her how to move swiftly and remain completely silent on all fours. Even with his build and muscle mass, Abby can move like a simple shadow in the brush.
Baby shows her how to strike. How to lunge with her claws forward to incapacitate first, and then how to go in for the kill with both claws and teeth. This was the only instance when they did not hunt a fellow Saja Boy. Baby used a log as his demonstration victim.
All of these lessons are very useful to her. She already has a grasp for some it anyway, as part of Huntrix. Although now, she can finally lean in to her demon side. She can feel her current hunter instincts awaken with a new intensity. She can feel the shadows envelope her and the moon energize her bones. Jinu points this out:
Jinu: You're probably going to be the most efficient demon hunter that ever existed!
Abby: Not that we want you to hunt us. For real. Right?
Rumi: Don't worry, haha! You guys are safe!
Baby: She can't catch us anyway. We can track her terrible choices in perfumes for miles.
Rumi: Except maybe for Baby...
I just had an idea, I remember you mentioning that in your au demons have strong predator instincts so what if since Rumi’s stopped hiding her patterns and has accepted her demon heritage her demon instincts have started showing up? I’m just picturing Rumi one day getting really interested in the cat toys Zoey bought for the boys, the urge to pounce on the string toy growing with every second. Or one day Rumi being half asleep, completely exhausted, hears Jinu mentioning that he needs a groom soon and Rumi starts copying what she’s seen the boys do during their grooming sessions. Every one is too shocked to say anything.
Rumi's instincts were so suppressed throughout her life, she has no idea what should be normal. Jinu and the Saja Boys are the only examples she has to go by. So she definitely pays close attention to them, tucking things she's observed into the back of her mind. She's still self-conscious about these things though, so she doesn't exhibit many demon behaviors at first. Except for those cat toys. She loves batting the jingly balls around.
Jinu helps to ease her mind. He taught her how to purr. He will groom her hair, but only in private until she's more comfortable having it done in front of the others. She's always felt protective of Mira and Zoey, but lately she feels super protective, wanting to make sure they're fed and rested and safe. Jinu says "that's not only your demon instincts, but your pack leader instincts coming into full bloom. You're a good leader, Rumi."
One day, when the Saja Boys are visiting, they get kind of rowdy at the Huntrix Tower. Turns out it's a full moon. (Demons get zoomies during full moons) Jinu says they are going to a park so they can blow off some energy in an open space instead of destroying the penthouse's living room. Rumi decides to go with them. Because she's vibrating with energy and feels like she's has the worst strain of cabin fever and can't take it anymore. Zoey and Mira go as well, and soon become witness to the most aggressive game of tag they've ever seen. Rumi's out there with the boys, tackling and biting and scratching, before dashing off across the field from the next person who has been designated "it." Surprisingly, no one seemed to suffer any injuries. It was all just play fighting.
Everyone is exhaisted after and they go back to the tower to rest before dinner. Jinu complains about twigs caught in his hair and Rumi just...goes for it. She gives one long lick to his ear and sideburn, and then starts working vigorously on his hair. The girls are shocked. Jinu freezes up but starts laughing and purring in content. Romance goes "awww!" And Baby slowly slinks away into the kitchen before Abby or Mystery get the idea he needs a grooming too.
The measures the girls have to go through in order to make sure the pups don't tackle the shiny pretty tree during the holidays xD
