For a little while, the noise of Seoul faded into the background. Huddled around a small table in their favorite late night spot, the five of them traded bites of food, quiet jokes, and tired smiles after another long day. No missions, no gang politics, no expectations just warm bowls, stolen glances, and the comfort of knowing they had each other. In a city that never truly slept, moments like these were rare, and maybe that’s why they meant the most.

Well the boys were nice enough to set him up with a little bedding and a damp cloth to his forehead, and wait for him to come around. After he woke up, Jinu offered him some dinner. Neukdae accepted. One, because he's feeling a bit drained after everything and could use the energy, and Two, he's technically a prisoner. He's not going anywhere anyway.

Over the next few days, he gets to know the pack and see how they work together. Seeing the Saja Boys go through their creative processes sparks something in him that he thought had died out long ago. Watching them banter and exchange ideas between each other reminds him of his theater days. Jinu notices him watching very closely from the shadows, and even invites him to participate. Neukdae always shyly declines, but continues watching.

Then one day, Jinu and Baby are arguing about a new song and how it should sound. They can't seem to come an agreement and they're both frustrated because no new ideas are coming to them for it. Then all of a sudden, Neukdae meekly pipes up with "What if you do it in a minor scale?"

It's like a weight had been lifted. It all made sense now and the first chords of the song sounded great! Exactly the feeling they wanted!

That's when Baby knew it was time to start training with his hostage.

Of course, the girls have to meet him eventually. Needless to say, Huntrix is a little...intense for Neukdae at first. But Zoey soothes his nerves with her scritches and petting. "Awwwwwww! Wild Saja is so shy and cute! C'mere!" She even manages to get a purr out of him after pouncing on him.

So Mystery didn't get pets that day. ):

He was a sad boy.
