Wigglesworth Headcanons (Maxwell x Lucy)

Before Maxwell, Lucy had never really considered getting any pets

But she’s so happy that she decided to get Wigglesworth

Wigglesworth has actually made it onto more “Most Spoiled Celebrity Pets” lists than any other famous pet

It’s Lucy’s proudest achievement

Her and Maxwell always do couples costumes for Halloween (and Wigglesworth is always included)

While the House Beaumont/House Romano Instagram page has to remain somewhat serious, that does not apply to Sir Wigglesworth of House Beaumont/House Romano’s Instagram page

And Maxwell and Lucy take full advantage of that

Wigglesworth has done so many photoshoots that he actually has his own closet full of outfits from said photoshoots (all designed by Penelope of course)

Maxwell and Lucy often joke that Wigglesworth is their first child

Which would be funny if people didn’t think they were serious

When Amalas presents Lucy with another corgi, she actually squeals

“MAXWELL LOOK!!!”

Madeleine is not pleased

They decide to name the new corgi Petunia

Petunia quickly acquires her own closet full of outfits (also designed by Penelope)

Lucy is usually a pretty practical person but all of that flies out the window when her dogs (or any dogs) are involved

“Lucy don’t you think Amalas might be using this dog as a bribe” “Well if she is it’s working, look at her little ears!!”

Anyone who visits Valtoria knows that the best way to get on Maxwell and Lucy’s good side is to bring presents for the dogs

One time they were presented with a golden corgi statue

It now sits proudly in the middle of the foyer

If you don’t think Lucy and Maxwell are the type of people to throw a dog wedding then you’re wrong

Madeleine hates it, she thinks it’s the most disgraceful display she’s ever seen

Bertrand has never been more ashamed

But the internet loves it and it actually brings Cordonia a lot of positive press

Lucy somehow convinces Liam to officiate

Maxwell cries

Lucy immediately starts planning for when Petunia and Wigglesworth have puppies

There’s an entire binder dedicated to it

This binder is actually the same size as her binder for her and Maxwell’s family planning (Lucy loves binders)

It takes a while but eventually Petunia gets pregnant

She gives birth to six puppies and Maxwell and Lucy obviously decide to keep them all

When Lucy finally gives birth, she’s eager to introduce the baby to the dogs

Maxwell is actually pretty nervous

He puts the dogs into their fanciest outfits to meet the baby

“It’s always important to make a good first impression”

It goes well!

Their kid grows up alongside 8 amazing dogs and it’s honestly all the two could ever hope for
