Caitvi, pep talk.
Caitlyn is expected to give a State of the City address, and Shes not feeling confident about it. In addition to seeing Corina, she’s overwhelmed with guilt and ruminates on how shes fallen short, both as a person and as a Sheriff. I couldn’t have done this without @dogpawsswapgod help w/ dialogue. It’s super fun working with them :)
Alright, never thought I'd say this, but here we go
If you liked Project Hail Mary, you should DEFINITELY watch Corina.
It's a mexican movie about this woman (Corina) who is agoraphobic. Her whole world is reduced to her home and her job (she works at a publishing house), which is located in the same block as her house, so it's not a very big world for her. One day she makes a mistake, and she has to face her fears and go on this big trip to try and fix it.
Now, you might be wondering what this has to do with phm. Oh child, you must watch it. I'm not gonna spoil anything, but there's this specific talk our main character has with her mother, about if coward characters can have their brave moments, that is just ohhhhh my god. Oh my god.
If you liked how Grace starts out as a coward, I'm sure you're also going to love Corina.
