Wordlessly comes up and brings the fairhaired woman something to drink and a homemade treat. Also brings a blanket and wraps it around herself as she sits next to her. She'll be quiet and good.

The Queen squinted slightly, watching the figure from afar come closer. She threw up her guard, only to lower it again upon recognizing Willow.

Akashi’s lamb.

The girl was as quiet as she, bringing with her a treat and a snack, which the Tres took humbly, if with some measure of confusion. When Willow had settled beside her, she chose to pop the question.

"Willow. What brings you out here?"

The Bridge of Nose: Treasuring

Though Retsu has not been able to get to know Willow very well, she will forever treasure the girl for being someone that she was able to save. It isn’t often that the teen is able to feel any sort of success in her life, so Willow being that special case has been important with her moving forward and continuing to battle against the doubts that hold her back.

"W-what's going on?"

"R-Retsu." A quiver in her voice as she ran to the fallen woman, trying to be strong for her. The truth was, she couldn't be strong. Retsu saved her when she was almost dying, and yet Willow couldn't save her. So instead, she held her in her slender arms as she took her last breath. "I'm so sorry.. Retsu, I'm so sorry.. Thank you.." With that, her voice cracked, and she sobbed.

A smile cracks chapped, bloody lips. She didn’t want to see the woman cry, but she was simply glad to see her at all. When she was stabbed and left here in this dead-end street, she truly thought she would die here all alone. No matter how many times she had told herself as she bled out that it was to be expected—living the life she did, to die alone--it didn’t weaken her despair. But then, there was Willow.

The feeling of her body being lifted, of being held in the arms of another is the last thing she senses before the darkness takes her.

A smile still on her face.

"N-No." Tears would well up in the woman's eyes as she did her best to try and stop the bleeding, but there was no use. She was dying. At first hesitant about holding her, she nodded and, through her tears, would hold Halibel until her final moments and, after she took her last breath, would sob into the night as she held the fallen empress.

Fullbringers. Borne of hollows were they not? And yet this one was acting not unlike one of her girls would have.

She did not know the girl well, never spoke to her, never interacted with her ever, but Halibel could always appreciate selflessness. She was a goner, the fullbringer knew that, and yet she sacrificed moments of her life to be with the Queen as her own came to an end.

She closed her eyes, basking in the warmth of another being, not even realizing she’d ended when her end came.
