New breakfast place nearby! Woke Breakfast & Coffee opened in Coventry, CT and I had to check them out. My companion and I split chilaquiles with poached eggs and rice and beans, breakfast enchiladas with rice and beans, churro crepes, corn beef hash, and blueberry ricotta french toast.

Result: Victory!

Another breakfast at Country View Resturant in Brooklyn, CT. My companion and I split a loaded baked potato omlette with sourdough toast and homefries, banana bread french toast, apple crisp wafles, and corn beef hash. I also got an oreo-m&m pancake.

Result: Failure. I couldn't quite finish the pancake on my own, and my companion wanted no part of it.

It had been 100 years since I had a day off work, and what better way to celebrate than with too much breakfast at Country View restaurant in Brooklyn, CT?  My companion and I split corn beef hash eggs benedict, an apple cinnamon pancake, and a loaded potato omelet with rye toast and homefries.  I also added banana bread french toast and a big ol’ pile of cinnamon-sugar whipped cream.

Result:  Victory!  I turns out that working two months straight make you pretty hungry.
