University of Nebraska Dancer to DCC
hello im going crazy about this so im screaming into the void in hopes someone will listen
jim pillen is killing nebraska and nebraskans
there's been official announcements that there's going to be efforts to open a second alligator alcatraz in nebraska cutely nicknamed cornhusker clink. this is obviously disgusting in itself, important to note that the majority of the state (despite being red) is against these concentration camps, but it's especially disgusting given our livelihood right now.
the same small town they're planning to build this in just had their hospital/nursing home shut down by the same guy. the closest hospitals are 30 min away and both are only emergency rooms, the closest real hospital is an hour out. jim pillen is dooming our sick and elderly to death
we are actively going bankrupt and have a 70% deficit of labor specifically because so many of the farm and plant workers were undocumented and were either detained or fled in fear (understandably)
one of our prisons JUST had the entire roof ripped off in a bad storm, all of the inmates were transferred to other (already overcrowded and understaffed) prisons and everyone is suffering because of it. i also have not heard anything about the building being fixed
a factory in fremont exploded and two kids and an adult were found dead after being missing for a week or so. it was bring your child to work day
nebraska is notorious for little other than the worst, most tore up roads in the midwest if not the country. there are sinkholes that just open and half the city is under construction half the year
there's constant flooding where people lose their homes and business and the state has done next to nothing about preventing this or helping citizens
i don't have to tell you about food insecurity in rural nebraska but kids are starving
but yes, let's put all these resources we pulled out of our ass to a concentration camp! why would we help our constituents lol
i know it's still a widely held belief that everyone in red states is maga or whatever but not only is that incorrect but it doesn't mean that everyone here should be sentenced to death, yes even the maga people
most of us are just poor people trying to feed our families and jim pillen, mike flood, and pete ricketts are making that harder on purpose
no one here wants this
Tommie Frazier was arguably the best college quarterback of the 1990s, leading the Nebraska Cornhuskers to consecutive national championships in 1994 and 1995. He had a 33-3 record as a starter and Nebraska won the Big Eight Conference championship all 4 years he was there. He passed for 43 touchdowns but even more impressively he rushed for 36 more.
It's nice knowing that, with Doctor Strange having grown up on a farm in Nebraska, there's at least one fancy superhero in the Marvel universe who knows the special hell that is detasseling.
He would also know the delicious glory of puppy chow and red beer...
And the classic meal of chili and cinnamon rolls. 😩💖
Is it just me or you guys sense some flirting here?

As Husker football fans, we all wanted a different outcome last night against the Buckeyes. But alas we just need to dig deeper into the fandom and hope for a better next week. At least we kept a loyal fan base last night. I’m proud to be a Husker regardless of the score.
