Pryor's cartoons were published in newspapers and magazines such as the Bulletin and the Weekly Herald. Good News
Two of our projects have been short listed for the Community Cashback grant in the Cornishman and we really need your votes! The projects are: (1) A Team Gardening Project - local young people will be encouraged to take part in planting and general maintenance of Ayr Field supported by gardeners, youth workers and community volunteers. We hope through this project, young people will feel more involved in their local play area and therefore decrease vandalism and anti-social behaviour. (2) Ayr Field Day 2012 Youth Project - at our 6th annual family fun day, we will encourage and support young people to help in the planning and delivery of a youth-centred activity such as graffiti art, dj'ing, silent disco, sports, music, etc. We hope through this project, young people will gain skills and a sense of pride in their community. We need people to vote for us in order to get some of this money so please help spread the word through emails, facebook or just chatting to everyone and anyone you may bump into! Voting is done by using the form in the Cornishman (this week and next week's) on page 14 and writing in either of our project names on the space provided then posting back to address indicated by 1 December. Get voting NOW! Many Thanks!! :)
