Life jackets from Titanic survivors
“There are only 12 KNOWN Titanic lifejackets left in the world. For the first time anywhere, 6 of these priceless artifacts will be here at the Titanic Museum Attraction. These jackets gave hope to the helpless, and what stories they could tell. During this rare event, our Titanic crew will speak for them.”

Enjoying Super Soft life jackets. Anyone else like these too?⛵️🙃
Hunger satisfied, we headed out to the swimming pool area to check on the Solarium. This air-conditioned area is open for guests 16 year old and above, so no running or screaming children allowed. Escape to this top deck retreat exclusively for adults, with peaceful swimming pools, whirlpools with ocean views, a full-service bar, plenty of seating, daybeds and nooks that are primed for unwinding. At the current moment, nobody was soaking in the pool yet; probably still munching on their lunch.
This weeks comic is the last part of the Airports series. Thanks as ever to the wonderful angels who are supporting this. Wanna join them? Pat Re On DOT COM slash tomorjudy Love x x x
Everything is Somewhat Repaired: Airports part 4 cw: deadname
On the flight home I took my seat and before the inflight safety dance routine (my favourite part of flying) I was approached by the lead steward.
Can I just check your name? Moore Thomas? wince-Shrug Nod
Then as a courtesy to me he checked the name of the older woman sat next to me who was wearing a blouse with seated leopards on it.
When we were in the air I asked him if I could take a photo of the illustration that's on the safety demo oxygen bag. A 1950's executive type who looks like he just put down his pipe in order to put on the oxygen mask.
As I sat back down I heard him say to "Oh she needs it for an art class she's teaching." God bless all the thoughtful gays who take care of us on flights.
I don’t know who thought it would be a good idea to do a photo session of the boys wearing life jackets, but they look like they’re about to be decapitated. Anyway, I’m happy because I’ve found out that the two bottom pictures look like the same photo, but they’re not, as in the first one Peter is smiling. Smiling! Oh, how I love his smile! Have I said that before? 😬
I’m stupidly obsessed with life jackets. Like as a lifeguard I gotta teach life jacket importance, but I’m not joking! I don’t care if “ew it’s ugly and orange; it doesn’t match my outfit”. Okay, so you want to drown? You think drowning is fun? Bc it’s not. It’s the worst. I’ve scooped kids up who have begun to drown, it’s not fun to watch, and it doesn’t look all that fun to experience. SO. I don’t care if it’s the biggest boat in the entire world, or a dinky kayak. You have to fkn know where the life jackets are on a cruise ship or a passenger ship or a yacht. And you also need to wear them on a motor boat or a canoe or a kayak or a paddle board. Okay? I like y’all too much. Please don’t be stupid and not wear one in the water.
So many drowning accidents are of the, uh, 18-30 range when people are wreckless and careless and too stupid to wear one. It’s not enough to simply have it in your boat sometimes. You gotta actually wear it for it to be effective.
Sorry but it’s summer and I know as the world is reopening, people are going to go boating. It makes me actually angry when the news reports drownings that were 100% preventable. Please PLEASE I beg of you all be the crazy life jacket friend. I know it might make you a bore, but I’d rather you and your friends alive at the end of the day.
